It's always cool when people flash their ironic, cool guy bona fides by trashing the statists.Last edited by froot loops; January 7, 2021, 02:30 PM.

I've come to the point where all I can do is watch and ridicule. I look at all of you with your masks and I don't even know who you are - no pun intended.
Statism is hitting the critical point where it's everyone against everyone, instead of pointing the blame at the institution that causes all the problems, they're all at each other's throats. Tragically, as that happens the state gets stronger.
A lot of people think a "civil" war is going to happen...I don't think so, but I can assure you that I have no interest in participating if it does. I'll keep my distance and watch the cities burn.
The "American experiment" has failed. Time to stick a fork in it. A good first step would be secession - go separate ways instead of killing each other to get control of the power to wield over others. The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.

I'm seeing a lot of people calling out "terrorism" and openly wishing the state would have unleashed the dogs and massacred the followers of Orange Jesus. That can't be good...The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.

Even if your Mad Max fantasy were to be reality, I can think of a lot of reasons WaRLoRdZ would be preferable to the monopoly violence of the state:- With WaRLoRdZ, people would know who the enemy is, and wouldn't line up to defend them and apologize for them when they wield violence on society.
- If your neighbor was a thug for the WaRLoRdZ, you wouldn't honor him and call him a "hero." You'd recognize him as a thug for monopoly violence.
- When people tried to fight back against the WaRLoRdZ, you wouldn't be here asking me "well, what SHOULD the WaRLoRdZ do when their power is threatened?"
- WaRLoRdZ probably wouldn't be running all of the schools, indoctrinating their victims to believe WaRLoRdZ were necessary and benevolent.
- WaRLoRdZ would have to steal and loot to fund their operations, and everyone would call it stealing and looting, instead of "taxation."
- One could defend himself against WaRLoRdZ (or at least try, even if he fails) and he wouldn't be villainized as a "terrorist" for defending himself against violence.
I could go on and on...basically, WaRLoRdZ would be recognized for what they are.
The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.

And you would have no power or control over them.
Your fantasy world is a world of anarchy, chaos, overt violence and control by brute force where might makes right and disagreement means death.
(and don't give me the "it already is" bullshit.)
Maybe you could buy the world a Coke. You know, perfect harmony and all that shit.

7. When WaRLoRdZ went somewhere else, and bombed the shit out of "other peoples" children, the locals wouldn't wave the WaRLoRdZ flag.
8. WaRLoRdZ probably wouldn't be running off everywhere else around the world bombing the shit out of "other people" because they wouldn't be able to print paper and call it "money." I mean, they could try, but who would take it as something of value?

A stateless society would not be a non-violent society. Perfection is not for this world.
It would be, however, orders of magnitude less violent than what we're experiencing under statism, but the problem is getting statists to acknowledge it as violence. That's a tall order because we were all indoctrinated in the states institutions to rationalize and apologize for its violence.
Your entire thirteen years of government school, summed up in two points:
1) Obedience is a virtue.
2) Any and all philosophical self-contradiction can be rationalized to dismiss the violence of the state.
And if you went to college, the latter becomes a "science."
The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.
