China’s ambassador warns Canadians to get ready for retaliation
OTTAWA—China’s ambassador to Canada said Canadians should prepare for retaliation after Ottawa protested the Asian nation’s security crackdown in Hong Kong.
In an exclusive interview with the Star, Ambassador Cong Peiwu accused the Liberal government of “interfering in China’s internal affairs” by suspending the Canada-Hong Kong extradition treaty and stopping military and “dual-use” exports to the city.
China’s envoy to Canada says retaliation coming after Canada suspends extradition, limits military sales to Hong Kong over Beijing’s sweeping national security crackdown.

I voted for Trump and I don't apologize for it. Sometimes you vote policy over people. I don't like the guy and I wish he had the common sense that god gave a blueberry, but I'm sick of corrupt politicians and especially the hypocrites on the left.
When I voted for Trump four years ago, I walked out of the polls wondering if I'd done the right thing. I was sure I had after seeing the meltdown starting immediately after the election. The protesting, the 'not my president', and childish behavior about not getting your way was very telling and I was certain I didn't want to see those people in charge.
Yeah, Trump is a turd ... he's the least presidential acting/looking person who's been in office and it's embarassing to have to admit that he's our president.
But look at what happened (or didn't) during his tenure. No foreign wars. Unemployment at an all time low. 401K trending up. Taxes way down (at least for me). My only complaint would be that it took longer for my wife and kids to complete immigration papers.
Sure I'd prefer someone other than Trump to president, but look who we ended up with because this election was referendum against him. Grandpa Joe, who is 78 years old, and can't put a coherent sentence together unless it's on a teleprompter. Additionally it's pretty obvious that Joe has learned how to play the game as well, learning how to get his pockets lined off-shore. Let's see how it has emboldened the crazies .... Talib, Omar and Cortez and how impactful they'll be moving forward.
What I've learned in my 50 plus years is that big government is bad. The more things the bureaucrats can get their hands on the more effed up they get.Forever One!

And now, because he lost, he’s trying to tear American democracy down with him like a mafia boss.
And the con man has kidded most of his followers into believing an election he lost by 7 million votes was actually his “cos Dominion, Chavez, China” etc.
He’s openly pressuring the SCOTUS to hand him another term even though he’s lost 50 law suits like they’re his personal lawyers at the Trump org.
He’s like some third world dictator.

As mentioned ... he's a narcissistic douchebag. I'm glad he's won't be President, I'm just even more unhappy that Biden is.
Pelosi, Shumer, Talib ... they are bigger toolbags than the Donald. Granted they have nothing to do with Biden, just the party he's aligned with.
As for Biden ... he's a politician. If you watched the debates you can see how he's perfected the art of lying, deflecting and generally saying nothing with his catchy quips. (Donald lies too ... he's just not good at it)
I love the these aren't blue states and red states ... we are the 'united states' or I'm not gonna shut down America, I'm gonna shut down the virus
Absolute drivel.Last edited by Masspartan; December 11, 2020, 12:45 PM.Forever One!

Should illegal immigrants be allowed to vote?
Should you be allowed to vote in two different states?
Do you think mail in ballots are a good idea?
Do you think their was any voter fraud in 2020?
Do you think unregistered voters should be allowed to vote?
You don't see the irony in the people who were screaming election interference, election fraud, eliminate the electoral college are now laughing and proclaiming fraud is ridiculous?
I do think their was voter fraud. Probably not enough to have overturned the election, but there are a lot of questionable things that occurred that warrant investigation if not reform. Unlike the liberal slappies from 4 years ago, I'm willing to admit my candidate lost and won't throw a temper tantrum because Biden won. He deserves the respect the office commands.
As for someone trying to unite the country ... I agree. There are better candidates than Trump for that role, but I'd also point out that the very people who talk about uniting people are the people that have divided the country from the moment Trump became president elect.
The marches. The protests. The impeachments. The Who can forget Pelosi & Shumer and their band of idiots marching with their golden pens to deliver the impeachment papers as if they'd just made some grand accomplishment?
People act as though racism is some new concept, but let's be real, it's been a problem my entire lifetime. Trump hasn't divided America. Americans and the media have divided it. Watch CNN or MSNBC for an hour and you'd think Trump was Satan himself.
Forever One!

The Republicans have no evidence of the above.
See, Trump has a nasty little habit of claiming skullduggery when he loses. He did it to Ted Cruz in the GOP primaries and he created a commission to look at illegal voting to try and substantiate his claim that he only lost the popular vote because “3 million illegals voted in California”.
They found....nothing.
Of course there is *some* voter fraud, but the guy lost the popular vote by 7 million. It was a blowout.
You either get caught up in his relentless grift or you see a conman doing what he does. Conning people.Last edited by TheLondonLion; December 11, 2020, 02:37 PM.

Sick of corrupt politicians so let's go with a corrupt businessman? I guess I don't follow that logic. Trump's openly lined the pockets of himself and his family, refused to release his tax returns so we have no idea if he is compromised by foreign entities. He put a defense contractor lobbyist in charge of the Pentagon. An energy company lobbyist (or was it a former executive?) in charge of the EPA. He openly lobbied for multiple foreign nations to investigate his political opponent and then tried to bribe one on a phone call to do so. His son-in-law magically sold a debt ridden property that nobody would touch until he became a "special advisor" to the president. His daughter suddenly had approved licenses in China that had been hung up for years. He's funneled millions of government money to his properties. An alarming number of sales at his properties are to shell companies that obscure who the actual buyer is. He is currently duping the MAGA crowd to line his pockets with "legal defense funds". The campaign last I knew had stiffed numerous municipalities for costs related to his rallies.
I'm probably missing a few things. And that's just the stuff on the surface. There's a reason he's considering pre-pardoning himself and his family.

The thing i don't get is that in the weeks before the election, Trump kept saying that a Covid vaccine was close ... but the impression i got from the news/ media was like uh yeah right nowhere near ... then almost immediately after the election they announce that vaccines are right around the corner almost ready ... seemed weird
WHO CARES why it says paper jam when there is no paper jam?
