Republicans would likely never be able to get a filibuster proof Senate to pass any of these laws either. Plus there are a ton of legal hurdles and hoops to pass through to get other things in that project implemented.

Pretty sure there is nothing from making the vast majority of civilian bureaucrats to reclassify as 4F (I think that is the designation) which would make them at will emplpyess of the president. Then he could fire them (I believe the number I have seen is 50k at least but up to 100k).

Asking about political views of immigrants coming into the US is a bit murkier but not necessairly illegal.

I am telling you that if Biden doesn't change course on Gaza then Michigan and Georgia are lost to him. Biden is a very very weak candidate. On Tuesday, a guy named Jason Phillips beat Biden in American Somoa picking up 3 delegates (Biden also picked up 3 delegates there). In Minnesota uncommitted picked up 8 delegates (Biden did win the state) with 20% of the vote and Dean Phillips got 9%. Those two states flipping (Michigan and GA) gives Biden only a 272-266 lead. That would be close in the best of times but now Biden is consistently losing in the polls in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina and Arizona. Outside of NC those are all states Biden won last time around. He is polling WORSE than Jimmy Carter did at this point in his presidency.

This is the 3rd presidential election that the nationals Dems are running Trump is bad (and no one is saying he isn't), so vote for us because we are not as bad. This idea of vote blue no matter what we do! is getting tiresome and doesn't play as well as the first two times. It is really frustrating on the nartional because you look around the states and some states are doing really good things.

Arizona and CT have announced they are going to buy back $2 billion (in each state) medical debt for pennies on the dollar. AZ is going through a non profit that buys and forgives medical debt. AZ is going to buy 2 billion medical debt from this non profit for 30 million.

In Minnesota there is a 1 seat Dem majority and this is what they have done so far

A higher percentage of people that back Bernie voted for HRC in 2016 than HRC backers voted for Obama in 2008


There is an estimated 57K of Arab Americans that live in Georgia. And about 123k of Muslims that live there in a state where where Biden won by 10,500 in 2020. He won Michigan by 154k in 2020. There are 290k Arab Americans there and around 241k of Muslims.

Gaza is an animating force not just in the Arab communities but the younger generations too. Biden is bleeding arab-Americans, young people, African-Americans AND Latinos. These are key core demographics of the Democratic Party and it underscores in big red lines Biden's weakness as a presidential candidate.

The only reason Biden won in 2020 is because Trump totally bungled COVID-19. If he handles it halfway decently Trump landslides his ass to reelection. As it was if Trump finds 44,834 votes over Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin and NE-2 he wins.

Rep. Debbie Dingall is raising the same concerns about Michigan this time around that she raised to the HRC camp back in 2016. The problem is that Biden (even in 2020) is a micromanager, very arrogant and slow to make a decision. I imagine that 4 years of mental decline and insulating nature of the White House has not helped matters.

Did I expect Biden to get all those things through Congress? Absolutely not. But he dithered around for a year plus trying to compromise with a party that has absolutely no interest in governing. He allowed for the opposition to marshall their forces and unite to attack whatever policies he wanted to do. The vast majority of time it looks like he is incapable of putting the effort in.
