Times change but most people believe in at least a conspiracy. Sometimes it’s easier to swallow a conspiracy that what happens in reality. Like the saying goes “the truth can be stranger than fiction”.

Oh sure. Pretty much everyone has a "conspiracy" that they believe in, from the relatively benign (the NFL orders their refs to specifically screw the Lions) to the legitimately dangerous to society (that one of our political parties is comprised nigh entirely of pedophiles running an international child trafficking ring out of the basement of a pizza parlor).

Me? I have a fairly simple rule of thumb when it comes to a conspiracy theory. If your conspiracy involves A) more than four people, B) more than four elements that have to be maintained for the scheme to work, and C) going on for more than about four years, then your conspiracy is 99.99% likely to be a complete load of bollocks. People simply aren't built to keep and maintain secrets for that long, and it becomes exponentially less possible the more people are involved and the longer it goes on.

I liked him before his ego got in the way and he fired his bass player and singer, Derek St Holmes.

That was after the "Ted Nugent" album ( the one with Stranglehold on it). I thought that was a great album.

It seems to me that everything after that was a lot of noise and Ted screaming for vocals.

It's kinda funny in the sense that the sort of technology and money to convincingly fake a moon landing is (perhaps ironically) more difficult and more expensive than... ya know... actually landing on the moon.

On top of that, it would have required the Soviets doing the USA a solid and confirming a fake moon landing... because they'd TOTALLY be on board with that idea, dontcha know?

Yeah you’d need millions of people and 1000s of companies, governments and organizations around the globe all in on it. It would be the worst conspiracy theory because everybody would be in on it.
