The song is good, gets you right in the feels. Glad it’s not partisan bullshit and the guy called out the GOP rich men north of Richmond trying to ride it.

He committed the cardinal sin of talking about the strength of America being a melting pot of cultures. Without a doubt, it's a strength, it's almost the main theme of Oppenheimer. For most of my life that was a banal platitude that both sides would say. Now for MAGAs, it heresy. He's woke! Go woke, go broke like Barbie!

No, today going woke is how you hold on to your money. Howard Stern is the epitome of that trope. He was once the brashest, devil may care shock jock that would do anything (black face, strippers, ie, race baiting and misogyny) but when he sign a 500 million deal with Sirius now he's Mr. Woke.. hypocrisy to the enth. First make your money through the everyman sensibilities and then turn on him once your rich. That's the American way."This is an empty signature. Because apparently carrying a quote from anyone in this space means you are obsessed with that person. "

Hell, Stern going "woke" (for whatever value you want to define that), didn't happen until well after he started getting big money from Sirius.
I guess the only other explanation is that as he got older, started looking back at his earlier work, and slowly realized over the course of many years, "A lot of the shit I did was pretty damn shitty to people who really didn't deserve to get shit on."
Nah. That can't be it.

I'm sure part of it was now that Stern was off celestial radio, much of the provocative stunts lost its punch. Should have hung it up years ago or just become a Larry King type interviewer. Anyway, point is Stern knew the quickest way to get canceled is to keep up the provocative (funny) stuff. So take the safe way out and become a boring woke guy who no one listens to anymore who hides away in a multi million dollar apartment and criticizes anyone out in public for spreading long term Covid.. lol.

Jesus would be accused of being a George Soros candidate if he was running for office today.
Vivek is like Ed Norton's character from Glass Onion - there's no there there, he uses a lot of buzzy words and talks confidently so people think he knows a bunch of stuff, but most of it is just a giant bluff or a fake. He has no actual policies, the ideas he proposes are largely absurd and impractical. Hell, he wants people to pass a civics test before being allowed to vote and yet he has no idea how congress functions apparently based on his insane "here's what i would have done if I was in Pence's place" diatribe.

I'm not sure anyone knows what Jesus was really like.
We understand the persona and history that was created at the Council of Nicaea (a few hundred years after his death), where things as trivial as JC's birthday were voted on at committee (dude's actual birthday was August 21st).
For all anyone really knows he was a lecherous drunkard during his time period (a lot of parties and wine in those bible passages)...it's the legend and the martyr that were created in the years since his death that everyone makes a big deal of. All we really know is there was a cult-like figure who attracted a bunch of followers and was crucified for it.

Yeah, was referring to the guy they tell the stories about in the Bible - "Jesus" as the concept that gets preached about all over the place. You know, the one who wants to love everybody (including immigrants), takes care of the poor, gives away his possessions, etc. You know, GOP priorities.
