  • I surely didn't make it up, Nick's boy Trump did. To me, a new version of Trumpism is still Trumpism and that is what Ron DeSanctimonious is trying. I'm skeptical that plays in swing states, but I'm just some schlub on a message board.

To me, GOP has only won the presidential popular vote once in the last seven elections. Their default presidential strategy has been to try and max out the vote and ignore the persuadables. The best campaigner for the GOP in the his century was George W. Bush using Compassionate Conservativism. That was a winning strategy in the suburbs and the exurbs. If Ron DeSanctimonious morphs into that, I would be less skeptical, but so far he's just another culture warrior. But he did beat a spent force in Charlie Christ.

    • Hey dumbass…pay attention.

I dislike Trump with a passion and I’ve been vocal about that here. If you don’t want to became a gaslighting POS like your boy Chemi….stop trying to tie me to Trump.

Also…I know that to you libs anyone who walks out of lockstep with your CNN agenda is a an extremest, Trump supporting, racist, deplorable, monster….but my nihilism means that I have my own opinions (some liberal….some conservative).

It’s obvious your tiny brain can’t fathom what a nihilist is (or why anyone but a Trump supporter would disagree with the liberal agenda you’ve surrendered yourself to). I will not keep explaining…pick up a fucking book if you can’t understand.

        • DeSantis' actions with Disney should disqualify him to anyone who wants freedom from government overreach. The "Freedom" party won't hesitate to elect him though.

          • It's OK, I can handle the vicious attacks. I have a thick skin. Like I've said before a lot of people claim they don't like Trump,.some even allegedly hate him, but when they regurgitate the Trump talking points, I think the "hate" is really virtue signaling.

I haven't had cable in over 25 years, so I don't watch CNN. I do have a gym membership and Fox News is on there, I can see why you fellas are so scared for America. Not me. I don't speak much on politics, I find it distasteful. But my philosophy is firmly Never Trump, for candidate s if you are for Trump, I am against you.

            • I’d vote for Tulsi. My almost perfect candidate.

              • Should we be holding our breath for any of Nick's "liberal opinions?"

                • I give him credit for coming back to the forum after being called a racist by many.
he found the courage to come back and still be part of something he cares about.
It takes some moxi to get up and get back into the fight.

                  • He’ll he has said I’m full of bullshit a few times but that’s ok.
                    Nobody really knows anybody here.
The ones that remain silent in this thread kind of shows where there at without saying anything.

                    • Virtue Signaling is a liberal invention and a prime tool in the gaslighting behavior that is rampant on that side of the narrative. But the problem with your “virtue signaling” is that, again, anyone who’s steps an inch out of the liberal agenda, or has the audacity to question a democrat’s performance….they are the enemy. And virtue signaling is a tool to make the weak minded feel guilty for having the audacity to think for themselves or hold an opinion that runs counter to the pervasive liberal agenda.

You blindly follow whatever they tell you and never question a Democratic official’s performance. Even if their current performance should invite criticism. Immediately call me a Trump supporter for doing so. If you’ll notice in my critique above…I’m asking the Democratic Party to clean up the process to remove the specter of nefarious behavior. Never did I say they were doing anything wrong. I feel that was especially important here.

I don’t like the fact that they’re telling you how normal this is…I lived in Phoenix for a long time and while occasionally there was a close race that took a couple of days, never was Maricopa in a state of complete grid-lock 4 days after the election. Sorry, but I believe my lyin’ eyes here, I lived there when this didn’t happen. And regardless of my memory here….if 48 other states (and numerous 3rd world countries) can count and provide an election process we can be comfortable with, why can’t Arizona? And why is it so important to you that no one question why their performance (even when it appears sub-par) isn’t great?

If you guys treated the lions coaches and FO with the same level of scrutiny that you pay your own elected officials….Matt Millen and Mooch would still be here.

                      • Don't worry Nick. The left are very defensive about any voting discrepancy because deep down they know their party practices cheating and have made it an art form. Many of them will say it's better to cheat than allow an evil meanie nazi like Trump to win. Or allowed I should say.

I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

                            • Again…I don’t allege cheating.

what I do allege is that when you’re the party that believes that questioning the results of an election is un-American or tin-foil hat shit…..then it is incumbent on your party to be non-opaque and above reproach.

And I believe in asking questions…if everything was working as it should, questions should be welcome. The best argument I’ve seen from you guys about AZ was “they’re going slow but at least they’re getting right”. But still….you should be asking why your leadership can’t do a little better. That it’s possible to do better is not up for debate here.

I’m not asking anyone to vote republican…but maybe different democrats could have provided a structure/process that the current bunch isn’t. Questioning the performance of your current leadership shouldn’t be treacherous….and it doesn’t mean your belief system suddenly changed.

                              • Again, "the specter of nefarious behavior." What does that even mean? Forget moving the goalposts. You're not even willing to set the damn things down to begin with.

The procedure for the vote in the states still counting is laid out for public consumption. If you think there's a problem in those statutes, point them out.

I'll even help get you started:

Nevada: Register to vote, check your registration, vote by mail, view voter ID laws, find all the dates, deadlines, and forms you need.

If I say, "Republicans should just concede any and all races because the lizard people from Mars are influencing the vote," that's certainly a criticism, but it's not a valid one, nor does it need any consideration. Nor should any election give any consideration to anyone who cries out "cheater" without any evidence or even the vaguest idea about how this alleged cheating is even happening.
