      • All three proposals have passed in Michigan, and even Fox is calling the race for Whitmer.

Of the "big" races, the only one that hasn't been called is Attorney General, but that looks likely to stay with Dana Nessel as well.

        • Looking nationally, it looks a bit like people erred on the side of sanity - more than I expected they would. Good for them.

          • That corner near me where they have a Loser Support Group every Tuesday (aka a Trump rally) had some pretty ridiculous political signs out yesterday. Photos of six month old infants with the text "Why are you killing me?? Vote No on Prop 3." WTF??

Also saw some extra large political signs in front of a church nearby. Think it's really time to start taxing them if they want to push their political opinions.

            • Harbaugh was politicking for no on Proposal 3.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

              • I don't have a problem with that. He's got a right to his opinion and if his employer is okay with him stating it publicly then have at it. I don't think he swayed a single person, btw lol.

                • Well that 6 months is off but if you decide to get rid of the little monster at your birth pains you're good to go..

                  • Wow. Not only did Democrats win/projected to win all three statewide seats, they are projected to take both branches of the state legislature as well. I knew it was going to be closer with the redistricting that crushed the gerrymandered districts, but I didn't see both branches flipping in one election.

                    • Good. Nice Blue wave in MI. It looks like the Dem’s will keep the senate. Fantastic news all around.

I'm not sure whose opinion you think you're representing with that facetious response. It certainly isn't mine.

The voters and common knowledge. You won on that platform. Just accept and be joyful.

This is total BS. No one wants to kill full term babies, besides psychopaths. The religious zealots try selling this as a way of garnering more support for removing a woman's reproductive rights but the facts simply don't back that up.

                            • It's true that reproduction rights more than likely are what swayed the election. I think there's a clear discrepancy here in how the right views women's feelings about those decisions. They are largely very difficult emotional decisions. Framing it as getting rid of little monsters is projecting and not accurate to how people really feel about it.

That was awful but true to a certain extent. There's nothing more beautiful and sacred and wonderful then a wanted baby but there's nothing more heinous and terrible then an unwanted one. Unfortunately, babies have no lobbies and rights for that manner. I am for woman's reproductive rights because if she doesn't want it then by all means ..
