  • What baffles me the most is people that act like it wasn't common knowledge Trump was a tool and an egomaniac in the public eye since the 80s. Like suddenly the motherfucker is a good guy that just wants the best for America? He wanted power. Period. Its not complicated.

The thing they are finding funny about the Nobel Prize is that he cried like a bitch that he didnt get it and Obama did. Massive shot to his fragile psyche. So it's funny people think he won one.

    • We impeached a president for a blowjob because the Republican party used to at least pretend to be the party of decency. If Trump had gotten a blowjibber from Kayleigh McEnany, she'd probably be a governor right now.

That is proven on how well we all were pre Covid. The stock market was the highest and unemployment was the lowest and no inflation.

I know you like to knock that Trump wasn't for the common folk but I don't want to argue that as the facts show otherwise. As far as financial misgivings and shenanigans, who has more to profit Republicans or Democrats. Trump was a multi millionaire and world renowned business man and entrepreneur. As many Republicans already are well off before they enter office. Are you really saying Trump used his political reputation to garner more money? Maybe, but didn't really need to. He became president for other reasons and I'm sure took quite a pay cut for those 4 years.
Good point about Trump being rich prior to taking office.

I believe money and power are basically interchngeble. In 2016, you had Trump trying to change money into power and you had Hillary changing power into money. It happens with both parties.

klondike, there is no sense in reasoning with these guys. Factually, Trump's net worth dropped after he announced for President. From Wikipedia

On June 16, 2015, just before announcing his candidacy for president of the United States, Trump released a one-page financial statement "from a big accounting firm—one of the most respected"[76]—stating a net worth of $8,737,540,000.[77] "I'm really rich," Trump said.[76] Forbes believed his claim of $9 billion was "a whopper", figuring it was actually $4.1 billion.[78] (Several years later, his lawyer Michael Cohen admitted in his memoir that "I'd personally pumped in the helium into his balloon-like net worth," including by inflating his estimate of the worth of the Gucci building, and said that he knew Trump at this time had "$2 billion, absolute tops."[79]) In June 2015, Business Insider published Trump's June 2014 financial statement, noting that $3.3 billion of that total is represented by "Real Estate Licensing Deals, Brand and Branded Developments", described by Business Insider as "basically [implying] that Trump values his character at $3.3 billion".[80] Forbes reduced its estimate of Trump's net worth by $125 million following Trump's controversial 2015 remarks about Mexican undocumented immigrants, which ended Trump's business contracts with NBCUniversal, Univision, Macy's, Serta, PVH Corporation, and Perfumania.[81]

In March 2016, Forbes estimated his net worth at $4.5 billion. A year later, shortly after his inauguration, they lowered it by $1 billion, and by the end of his presidential term, they had subtracted yet another $1 billion.[82][69][83]

During the three years after Trump announced his presidential run in 2015, Forbes estimated his net worth declined 31% and his ranking fell 138 spots on the Forbes list of the wealthiest Americans.[84] In its 2018 and 2019 billionaires rankings, Forbes estimated Trump's net worth at $3.1 billion. (In 2018, this was 766th in the world, 248th in the U.S. In 2019, this was 715th in the world, 259th in the U.S.)[83] Bloomberg Billionaires Index listed Trump's net worth as $2.48 billion on May 31, 2018,[85] and Wealth-X listed it as at least $3.8 billion on July 16, 2018.

So, according to Forbes, Trump came into the Presidency with $ 4.5 Billion and left the presidency with $ 2.5 Billion. They are oblivious to facts.

These guys will never be willing to admit their mistake, but you can be absolutely assured they will beat you over the head with your mistake about the Nobel Prize. The least intelligent among them don't even know what they think, except they want to change the form of government in the US.

Now, Trump is being persecuted by the AG in New York for claiming on loan applications that he had more assets (or more valuable assets) than he really did. There is a stunner! Totally Trump and totally predictable. What the progs here cannot understand is that when banks make loans they don't rely on what the borrower says his assets are. They obtain their own appraisal of value for the properties that are to be taken as security. Dems believe "...you didn't build that.." as Obama said because they feel like rich people either cheated for the money or won the lottery or were born with the money. This is pure Marxism. That is the religion on display here, and they are not about to read or consider facts.

Watch the replies to this post. They will go to Google and find something by NPR (I did) that says Trump made $ 2.6 Billion during his presidency. They don't even know the difference between gross and net. It is laughable.

          • Honestly, that was my first reaction to the loan application issue: How did they not appraise these properties to determine their proper worth, no matter what was claimed?

Claiming something is worth more than it is may be fraud but there shouldn't be any victims if they did their due diligence.

            • Why is she charging Trump when the banks aren't. They don't seem to care so why should anyone else. That's the witch hunt going on against Trump.

              • Why aren't the banks charging Trump with a crime? That is curious. It's almost like it's not their job or something.

                • Can I charge the Seahawks with a crime? They straight up murdered our defense on television.

The AG is sueing Trump for taking out a loan and paying it back. The Banks are mum on the case. I guess you take the AG's side. Please expand..

Just because you fall in love with a cult leader doesn't mean it is a witch hunt. Trump has been dirty for decades. The only thing happening here is people started looking.

Question for you is why are you so blindly devoted to a politician who betrayed his country?

And I am not asking why you hate Biden, or why you love Republicans. I am specifically asking about your blind devotion to Trump.

                      • The biggest bank at the center of that is cooperating with the AG investigation after "Exiting their relationship" with Trump after he wouldn't respond to their questions about falsified documents. They are mum now because the investigation is ongoing.

You might want to actually look into the thing you're comnenting about.

Why? FOX News tells him what to think.

                          • It was always the financial side that was going to get Trump in trouble. For the very first time, it looks like he might have actual consequences applied to him for the first time in his life.

DeSantis is poised to step into the Trump void though and he is like a smart Trump that actually wants to do the work.

That's true. There are no "victims" here and the banks did their due diligence. Everyone got paid. Now the AG is going to press this case. By this time, Trump is the most investigated man in the US.

Trump bases a lot of his claimed net worth on licensing agreements that he values at $ 3.3 Billion. Basically, that is the value he puts on his name. Egomaniac
