Never mind all of the information that has come to light about the former POSPOTUS' actions on January 6th or the classified information he held on to for probably nefarious purposes. I posted about something that is happening weekly by my house still to this day. It's still relevant. And it has nothing to do with who is in the White House now.
FTR, I don't particularly like Biden. I think he's squandered a lot of opportunity so far and I don't want him to run again. But I do find him much more coherent than Trump ever was. And I'm not looking to deep fake videos for my confirmation bias.
Anyone that thinks that Biden is even remotely coherent should stop what they're doing and put down the retard sandwiches . He and the VP are the worst pair I've ever seen and we've seen a lot of terrible choices in the last 20 years.
Honestly I don't want Trump to even run in the next election and I don't think the republican party wants it either. No matter what I think of Trumps job during his tenure the entire nation was divided. I don't want that and he's too old IMO. The media was a 24/7 shit show during is 4 years and it makes our country look like morons. Hard pass
My comment was more centered around the hopes that both parties would bring strong presidential candidates to the table instead of a 3 ring circus. The problem with the Democrats is that they put everything into Hillary as they didn't want anyone strong to oppose her which stunted that party which led to Biden. Hell Obama had terrible things to say about his VP and he couldn't even win the nomination after being in the White House for consecutive terms. Biden being marched out for the last election was like the R's throwing McCain and terrible Pahlin on the card.
We need strong leadership that can actually unite our country. Who that is, I have no idea.F#*K OHIO!!!
You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

The problem with that idea is that you're never going to get a consensus on what "strong leadership" is. A massive chunk of this country thinks Trump is that "strong leader," and they are not willing to accept any substitutions.
So, how do you thread that needle? To be quite blunt, you don't. The only real solution is to weaken the office of the President and get a Congress that is actually able to work together; which is currently impossible because heavily gerrymandered districts across this nation reward extremists that refuse to concede on anything. Any attempts to fix that problem are and have been repeatedly blocked (by Republicans, sorry if that hurts any partisan feelings, but it's true), or ripped up in our Judicial Branch.
I do think a majority of the public would be able to agree on some sort of voting policy; the problem is getting them to accept the results.

Something seriously needs sorted over here in Europe……. The retard sandwiches are up to a fiver at the garages."...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

The worst of the voting laws imo are the states that are restricting times and intentionally creating long lines or making those lines unbearable. Further restricting absentee voting only adds to the problem. Voting being an hours long wait absolutely turns away voters and that tends to grow in size as a problem the greater the population of the area.
All of these dumb laws to address a problem that doesn't actually exist. Extremely minimal fraud amplified by astronomical amounts to make it seem like it's a problem that it just isn't.

Absentee voting is never going to go away. You'll still have people who are out of state, military, disabled, etc. You'll still have incorrect precinct voters. You'll still have losing candidates arguing for them not to be counted even though they are perfectly legal. It's a boogeyman problem.
Republicans want votes thrown out for a wrong date on the paperwork even though it's completely irrelevant because the precinct stamps when they are received. These votes should be counted. It's unconstitutional not to because that information just isn't needed, it's also redundant. It can't have been filled out any earlier than the precinct sent it. It can't be filled out after the precinct stamps it.
That doesn't mean changes can't be made but they aren't going to change the outcry of people who can't accept loss and they shouldn't make voting more difficult. Why should we ban water to those waiting in line? It's already illegal to show up in that capacity speaking or even displaying of candidates or parties. That part of the new Georgia law has not a damn thing to do with security. It just makes longer lines with less precincts more painful and those things just so happen to occur in densely populated urban areas.

To say something is unconstitutional is a big statement. There are certain requirements to be met for the privilege of voting absentee. If those requirements are not met then the privilege is not granted. In your example of "wrong precinct", what is to say that the voter has not already voted in his correct precinct? Or what is to say that he cannot go to his correct precinct and vote? In Michigan, 95% of "provisional ballots" were counted, not because there was any error in the paperwork, but because the AG deemed them as legal.
But this really points out the basic difference between how the two parties view voting. Rs want a set of rules established in advance of the election and they want the rules followed. Ds want to count anything that comes in, rules be dammed. That is a big difference. Why is it that only the D party has voters who cannot follow the rules and then they demand that the rules b amended during the counting process? We will soon be where Oregon is: voting online. Just stop your video game, vote, and resume your video game. I've never thought it a bad thing to have to make some effort to vote. Oh, and I'll never believe 83,000,000 people voted for Joe Biden (way more than voted for Obama).
