History goes back a really long way spartan
And that land was Palestinian long before the first Jewish tribes settled there. What's your point?

    • That history goes back before the Ottomans…like spartan said in his post (I was responding to him).

and go fuck yourself chemi….you’re still a race-baiting gaslighting cunt who’s not worth talking to. I’m still not engaging with you…so stop responding to my posts.

Yeah well, easy to be race-baiter when you're talking to a boot-licking racist piece of shit.

Go fuck yourself, asshole. I'll respond to whatever the hell I want, and your choice is A) Deal with it, or B) Get bent and deal with it.

You don't make the rules. Fuck off.

        • And BTW….

my comment was about how a Democratic member of congress says racist things and it’s generally ignored.

That was before the race baiting cunt turned it into history lesson on why the Jews don’t deserve their own country.

Birth Control Access Bill Blocked In Senate By Republican

A request to pass by unanimous consent a bill codifying federal rights to contraception was blocked by Sen. Joni Ernst, a Republican from Iowa. Democrats warn that some states will start restricting birth control and those measures could be held up by the currently constituted Supreme Court.

Why anyone would vote for any of these fucktards is beyond comprehension

The last time I looked about 80% of Americans think birth control is a good thing.
This is a fantastic example of how insane & fucked up this world is. Its almost unexplainable!
            “We’re gonna ban abortion.”

”ok, we’ll be better equipped with our birth control options.”

            ”we’re banning that also.”

              • Yeah, and you were just as full of shit then as you are now.

Talib (who I suspect is the one you're talking about) got dragged to hell and back for her shitty comments about AIPAC and her comments that at most generous interpretation toed the line on antisemitism if not took a triple jump across it. Pelosi literally took her to task on the House floor presenting a resolution denouncing her in 2019.

The general criticism from anyone NOT Talib was how Zionist leadership of Israel has basically created large-scale concentration camps around the Palestinian people and steadily choking them off and closing in on all sides on any given day. Which was why I asked you for that clarification in the first place; because criticism of Zionism is not necessarily antisemitism, though it can certainly be hard to tell on its face.

And I was countering your shitty insinuation that Zionist leaders have the right to do what they are doing to the Palestinians because they were there before Islam was even a religion. Jews deserve a homeland just as much as Palestinians do, which right now the Zionists are actively trying to deny them, just like the Arab world tried to deny Israel on several occasions (most notably two outright wars). The Arab world wasn't right then, the Zionists aren't right today.

What I said on the matter is that the current strife centers around Western countries basically flipping the table in Palestine, handing that land to Europeans (because at that point, the Jewish people in Europe were European in pretty much every way), without any care about what got upended or what would happen to those currently living in what had very quickly became an entirely different country. That... is true! That's not a justification for the Arab response (which was where "from the river to the sea" was born).

Nowadays, you have about six different power brokers in the region, and pretty much all of them are acting and negotiating in bad faith.

It makes perfect sense if you consider they want to create.

A world where there are reproductive rights are few and far between. A world where there is state endorsed religion and it is used to discriminate against those not if the state endorsed religion.

A world where there is very little pre natal care and women are just vessels and something goes wrong it is your fault for not being the perfect vessel. Of course, this will not apply to the elites which will be able to get the services they need. Corporations do whatever they want to openly and things like a clean environment, health care and public education go by the wayside.

They want everyone to not have sex until they are married. Unless it is THEIR daughter or son and they get pregnant. Then it's, "Call Dad's golfing buddy and see what he can do to get this thing taken care of."

Anybody tell them that this will make more Democrats and the Republicans % of voters will decrease?
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

They anticipate that the majority of deaths will be from black mothers who in general have worse health care and health care options.

I can promise you someone at the Federalist Society crunched some projections and decided it would be a net positive for the white race.

                      • Well, Planned Parenthood Inc. was established by Margaret Sanger with the expressed purpose of eliminating the black race. The Dem party supported PP then as they do today. the Ds were always the party of white supremacy up until 1965.

Future and Whitney: I don't know where you get the idea that prenatal care or contraception are in danger of being eliminated. What Dobbs did was send the abortion matter back to the states. Nothing more. Whatever propaganda you are reading about it is just silly. Have you read the Dobbs opinion? If you took the time to read it you would find that Alito makes pains to specifically say it does not apply to contraception (Griswald) or gay marriage ((Oberkfell).

Things change over time, old man, no matter how much you demand they don't.

First, get my f'ing handle here right. It takes like 5 seconds but you couldn't be bothered.

Well since the Dobbs decision you have had...

                            1) Mike Pence push for a national abortion ban

                            2) Have had Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) raise an objection to 100% consent to guarantee the right to contraceptives.

                            3) There is a case (spearheaded by the former Texas AG) before a US Federal Judge asking for the judge to strike parts of Obamacae including access to free contraceptives.

                            4) https://www.pewtrusts.org/en/researc...-birth-control

                            Pasted from the link:

Last year, conservative Republicans in the Missouri legislature took a run at blocking Medicaid funding from going to Planned Parenthood. . . .

But in the fine print of their measure, those Republicans revealed that their ambition wasn’t only to target a familiar abortion foe. They were going after specific forms of birth control as well, notably, emergency contraceptives, often sold under the brand name Plan B, and intrauterine devices, known as IUDs. GOP lawmakers tried to stop Missouri’s Medicaid agency from paying for those forms of contraception.

This month, Idaho state Rep. Brent Crane, Republican chair of the powerful House State Affairs Committee, said he would hold hearings on legislation banning emergency contraceptives and possibly IUDs as well.

A Louisiana House committee earlier this month passed a bill saying that “human personhood” begins at the point of fertilization, an interpretation that critics say could potentially be used to outlaw Plan B drugs, IUDs and perhaps other forms of birth control.

Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards, who opposes abortion, promised that if the measure passed, he would veto it. In its original form, the bill would have allowed criminal charges to be brought against those undergoing abortions. After the House voted to amend the bill to remove the parts that would have criminalized abortion recipients and outlawed some forms of birth control, the bill’s sponsor refused to advance it, according to the Louisiana Illuminator.

In 2019, the Trump administration adopted new rules blocking Title X family planning funding from going to providers who also offered abortion services or referred patients for abortions. The rules expelled many providers, notably Planned Parenthood, prompting some to close and eliminating for many patients access to the full range of reproductive health services.

The above comes from a May 19, 2022

                            5) You have the current Texas AG saying he is ready to assist local DAs in prosecuting people that get an abortion. He has also said that he will fine companies in Texas 100k for each time they allow an employee to go out of state to get an abortion.

                              • Whitley:

I asked you to read the Dobbs decision, but you instead cut and paste more propaganda. Why are you so resistant to reading primary sources in order to form your opinions? Just read what Alito said about contraception.

You also seem unable to differentiate between outlawing abortion and outlawing government-funded abortion. Since about 1980, there has been the Hyde Amendment in almost all federal budgets which PROHIBITS federal funding used for abortion. From Wikipedia:

In U.S. politics, the Hyde Amendment is a legislative provision barring the use of federal funds to pay for abortion, except to save the life of the woman, or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape. Wikipedia

Much of your cut-and-paste propaganda revolves around things being "free". Whitley, things are never free. What you, as a teacher if I recall, fail to understand is that there are folks who have to work to provide "free" abortion services just like they have to work to overpay government-school teachers. Once again, we are talking about makers and takers and you are a taker. You cannot even conceive of a moral order where you are not receiving other people's money.

I oppose abortion because it is the taking of human life. The Hyde Amendment is one instance where the federal government couldn't get their welfare programs passed without agreeing that money not be used for abortion. Of course, the Biden administration has ignored the Hyde Amendment.
