Trump truly is a pathetic individual. He got jealous that Fauci was throwing the opening pitch for the Nationals so claimed he was throwing one for the Yankees to try and take back the limelight, onlnly to walk it back immediately after. Then he says “nobody likes me” and bemoaned Fauci having higher approval/trust ratings at a Coronavirus briefing he barged in on Mike Pence to co-opt after seeing the Veep’s “numbers”, before telling America to drink bleach.

What is the alternative? That is the $64,000 question - as it is the question that wasn't answered that got him elected and it's the same question that left unanswered will get him re-elected. If Biden is the only thing the Dem's have to offer - expect another 4 years from Trump.

True. However, Biden is not going to attempt to solve any of the underlying problems that led to Trump's election. It will be more corporate friendly policies. The income inequality will increase and the working class will be crushed more. This is what I expect out of a Biden administration.

No Medicare for All (instead we will get tweaks around Obamacare edges)
Get back into the Paris accord but little else to combat Climate Change. Any sort of Green New Deal will not happen.
Very little to help student loan debt (Biden has said he has no sympathy for those with crushing debt)
Very little to help make college more affordable
Very corporate friendly policies (Wall Street first)
Same endless wars policy that administrations since Bush 2 have had
Very little to change with immigration policy (remember there were cage for kids under the Obama watch too, but DACA should be safe from assault)
Eagerness to make deals with Republicans (and listening to their sudden concern about the debt)
Not listening to any progressive voices

Biden isn't a great candidate for the progressive left by any means, Hes pretty far from the progressive left. He'd wind up being a 4 year bridge candidate that likely leads to a republican in 4 years or possibly whoever his vp is if they are liked.

With our world standing with our allies hopefully repaired hopefully the new guy/girl can at least not be a climate denying narcissist that shits on our allies.

Even if Biden fails miserably on every other metric as a president if he manages to help bridge the racial divide in the country his presidency would be a resounding success. Something Trump has zero chance of doing.
