I'm not worried about being labeled a Trump extremist. I didn't vote for him in 2016. I did vote for him in 2020. The way he has behaved since the 2020 election has been the worst kind of selfish; he clearly doesn't care about the country. He is a childish egomaniac. He is the only chance the Ds have of winning in 2024.
But, think about it. Knowing what you know now, who would you vote for if the same Trump/Biden election were held today. No rational person would choose today over 2019. Trump made a massive mistake in closing down the country, and the new Blix book out yesterday made clear that the Public Health bureaucrats lied to Trump about his choices. I doubt if any President could have stood up to the entire MSM and the entire bureaucracy taking a chance on millions of deaths. But a member of his Health Council did present the choice of going heavily into protecting the most vulnerable and letting the healthy and young take the risk of what we see now is a type of flu.
We will never know, but those countries that remained open got through the virus just as well as those with extreme lockdowns. DeSantis in FL looked at the actual data and decided to open up his economy and schools. So the state with the oldest demographics turned out to be the state that came through the pandemic best. That is leadership.
And one other thing I'll say here. You progs are always talking about Trump wanting to be a dictator and being an authoritarian by nature. If Donald Trump had wanted to be a dictator, the man could have declared martial law in May of 2020 and I think he would have gotten away with it. When you work in the lab you have a series of doors you have to go thru. Then you are locked in the lab. If there is a mis-hap they do not let you out. 1 life versus millions.
The other thing is nobody but your closest loved ones knew what happened to you. They made everyone sign away their rights. AND your family never gets to see your body because they cremate you to prevent any lingering contaminants.

Oh I'm pretty sure people will be looking for origins of the virus for the next 100 years, but the work is tedious and won't make it into a Murdoch entity. They didn't get a sample of the 1918 flu until the 90s. But again, it isn't a Law and Order episode with an aha moment.
Getting something out of China is problematic and if detectives from China come over to investigate something in the US they would probably be told to get bent.

I suspect if the UN went to any research lab in any country, without the permission of the host country, and demanded to be let in to investigate, that they'd be told to pound sand, then told just what they could use to fuck themselves and what orifice they should use.
