The fact they are allowed to kill citizens because THEY are afraid (yeah right), or some other nonsense gives these people the impression that anything they want to do/or not want to do is totally up to them. THIS is what every day we go in public is like. And there are way more people like this out there then good people like you would know. We see people say some crap and then say, "But he's one of the good ones."
I'm sorry for injecting race, but I'm just answering the question.
And if anyone thinks when will this end? Imagine how we feel.
Anyway. My apologies.Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

Rams have 52 of 53 players fully vaccinated

In some cities, the reduction to 53 players may have decreased the overall vaccination rate. In Los Angeles, the Rams arrive at 53 with only one player who isn’t vaccinated.
Coach Sean McVay told reporters on Tuesday that 52 players are vaccinated.
“I don’t want to say who it is just out of respect, but 52 out of 53 is not bad,” McVay said.
It’s a vaccination rate of 98.1 percent.
Is McVay concerned about not having all 53 players vaccinated?
“No, because that person has done an incredible job of demonstrating all the precautionary measures that you would ask and that you would require,” McVay said. “And I’ll tell you what I’m very legitimately concerned about, is the fact that now you’re seeing guys come up with positives that are fully vaccinated, that I do trust are making smart decisions off the field. And like, I’m sure we all feel, you just want to know, ‘Alright, what can we do to implement smart, strategic procedures and processes that limit this being a factor for us?’ Because whether it’s [special-teams coordinator] Joe DeCamillis, [receivers coach] Eric Yarber, now you talk about [offensive lineman] Coleman Shelton, [punter] Johnny Hekker’s missed time, you’re talking about all guys that have been fully vaccinated and now it’s like, ‘Okay, how do we make sure that we’re understanding exactly what those things are that we can do and implement so that it doesn’t become a distraction for a football team?’ I think that’s going to be the case for the other 31 teams as well. So that’s the thing that [we are] trying to work through and it’s something that we’ve got to get figured out and I need to do a good job of getting a handle on so that you don’t have it as any sort of crutch. It won’t be an excuse for us. I can promise you that.”
McVay said that decisions made in reducing to 53 players were “definitely not” based on vaccination status. By rule, it can’t be. As a practical matter, how could it not be a factor in close cases? Unvaccinated players must be tested every single day, and they’re subject to a five-day absence of close contact with infected persons. That still doesn’t apply to vaccinated players.

I spent 6 hrs in the emergency room last night with my wife. She was having trouble seeing and we thought it might be a detached retina. It's not, but she has a vitreous detachment, much less serious than it sounds and apparently pretty common.
Anyone that thinks that this country doesn't need single payer healthcare needs to spend some time in a lower income area emergency room. Of course, most people that cry SOCIALISM! when we talk about universal healthcare don't give a shit about anyone but themselves anyway, so I guess it would be a waste of time, but it is a serious eye opener none-the-less.I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

Where I live (in Northern Michigan)the Health Department has issued a mask mandate for all k-12 kids. The local school district board has an 11 am emergency meeting today to discuss if they are going make masks required.
And there were a good number of people posting in FB groups to come out and be vocal so the school district could make masks optional. Hell, I even saw a posted of a mother saying she is going to send her kids to the public school without masks even if it is required,.
The ex-county sheriff was chiming in (he was one of the four county sheriffs in Michigan that issued a statement (which was vetted by my state rep. office)that said they were not going to enforce GOv. Whitmer's mandates) that the local health department was issuing something unconstitutional and therefore was not enforceable. And even if it was who is going to make sure that people followed what the school district decided (if they require masks).2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

Colts G.M. Chris Ballard says there are “consequences to not being vaccinated”

Several teams have had very public struggles when it comes to getting vaccinated, including most notably the Bills and the Vikings. The Colts are also dealing with vaccination hesitation, too. G.M. Chris Ballard addressed the issue with reporters on Thursday.
“There’s consequences to not being vaccinated,” Ballard said, via Mike Wells of ESPN.com. “Do I think everybody should be vaccinated? Absolutely. I’m for the vaccine. [Coach] Frank [Reich] is for the vaccine. We have a lot of guys on our team who are for the vaccine. Is it 100 percent perfect? No. But it’s a good thing. . . .
“It can help you from ending up in the hospital in a critical situation. And it helps stop some of the spread, and those are positive things. But for the guys who have chosen to not get vaccinated, they still understand they’re still part of this team, it’s their decision, but they’re still part of our team and they have to take care of the team.”
Ballard is choosing to be as optimistic as possible, given the circumstances.
“Look, I can beat my head against the wall,” he said. “I can go in there and raise all kinds of hell and go off. That’s not how we roll. I believe in our guys. I believe in what they stand for and I’ll stand by them. We’ll continue to work on the vaccinations. It’s not like we’re done educating. . . . But they understand they have to take care of the protocols at hand and they have to live by them. And we’ll do that at the best of the ability we can do it.”
The Colts recently had multiple players get knocked out for five days as close contacts with infected persons. That only happens with players who aren’t vaccinated. One such player is quarterback Carson Wentz.
