He probably could have left off "been vaccinated" at the end of the first sentence. Other than that I don't get it either.

      He was responding to:

If you aren’t vaccinated, you can’t expect to have the same privileges as people who have been vaccinated. Live with your “personal choice” and the consequences that come with it.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

She'd made her point nicely. That extra bit takes the edge off the message and puts peoples backs up.

SO many ways she could’ve got her point across.

Unless of course non vaccinated people pi$$ her off sooooo much that she takes to the keyboard asap.

Is there an issue with that phrase? Because I have heard people my whole life saying you get what you work for.

How would you phrase that M69? Thank goodness for vaxed so we all can get back to norm. Wait. No. Thanks everyone. Even if you did absolutely nothing to help.

I think you two are reading and putting something in there that is not.

But the basis of society are in that very phrase. We all make descisions all the time and everyday. We all live with those consequences. I don't know what to say if that hurts someone's feelings. What are we soft selling here?

Consequences do not have to be bad unless YOU think of them as such. WHEN I was a non-vaxer ( I routinely would not take the Flu-vaccine before) I knew the risks. I knew the potential consequences and such. I took my chance and I would have not blamed anyone but myself if it didn't turn out well for me.

Marko, over here everything is open IF you have been vaccinated. So if you have not, you are supposed to still go through with the COVID protocols. I guess that is part of the consequences. The truth is that there are hundreds of thousands of people getting the virus daily because they're not vaccinated. That is a consequence whether someone spells it out or not. I don't get how people are trying to spin it.

As a person who has gotten the shot, I will say, I will live with MY personal choice and if I grow an extra thumb, am micro-chipped or become a zombie; I will live with the consequences of being vaccinated."

                Better?

                For goodness sakes...

In the US things have been less then tenable for over 15 years now. NO amount of anything won't have at least a third of this population "pissed off" You can only go so far because some people just want what they want and what they want is to not agree with you. No matter what. You could literally restate what they just said and they'll find an issue with you.

The only way is to just STFU. Then, who's being pissed off.

The truth shouldn't piss anyone off. The truth IS. Being pissed off is something the pissed off is responsible for. The truth shouldn't be one. Ooops, that's just me being naive again.

                  Carry on...

                          Yeah, she is.

I've stated the exact thing so I can't kill her on that.

I still don't understand what is wrong about the statement.

It just came off as elitist the way she said it. My problem was "can't expect to have the same privileges" etc.

I think her point could've been made in a way that didn't act like we're separate classes all of a sudden.

PS I'm fully vaccinated. I didn't have any medical condition that made me unable to get it, and didn't believe the conspiracy stuff. It seemed reasonable to me that the vaccines would've been tested and known well enough considering the scope. That said, i know people who aren't getting it because they don't trust how fast it was made, and want long term studies. That's their right. If they complained about not being able to do certain things I'd probably say ... yep it sucks, but hopefully all the rules in place are there to keep people as healthy as possible ... it is what it is.

I wouldn't tell them that they can't expect to have the same privileges ...
WHO CARES why it says paper jam when there is no paper jam?

                              • It was the follow up in the last sentence.

                                ”oh, I feel this way….”

                                “But….”
