All true, and this is WITH measures being taken ie masks, distancing, lockdowns, etc. What would the numbers have been if life just went as normal?

if he does express his opinion about it…..the keyboard mob will creep out of the woodwork and demand he be fired. For making a decision about his body. Imagine if the idiots who stand outside abortion clinics started public shaming campaigns on the internet and followed girls to their place of employment demanding that person is fired. You’d be horrified, and rightly so.
can you tell me what….in the name of safety protocols….is accomplished by blocking Beasley from social media and other marketing and sponsorship opportunities? That seems purely punitive to me (I.e. the poor NFL might lose out on making an additional dollar after all). But please enlighten me about the protocols in place to keep everyone safe (because if social media endorsements are transmitting COVID, we’re all fucked).
Future…I realize that you and faceless mob of keyboard warriors have decided what’s best for everyone and that you want anyone out of lockstep punished, I’m not going to agree with you here…mostly because I truly believe in individual liberties (like my body my choice).
I singled out your post because you said there was no logical argument to support a non-vaccine stance….and there is. (Try to keep up). When the odds of realizing actual harm from an illness are small and the odds of short/long terms side effects is largely an unknown…..it’s a risk assessment. If I walked into a Dr.’s office and asked them to remove my son’s appendix because of the small chance it might burst at a later time….they’d call CPS. Why would a healthy person take a medication still deemed experimental (and therefore any long side effects are a complete crap-shoot)….when there’s little to no risk related to negative effects of the thing the experimental is supposed to protect you from. That’s a pretty simple and very logical argument. It’s not sexy….it doesn’t play on your fear or emotional response, but it’s logical.
and in a much straighter line than non-vaccinated need to become vaccinated so that he vaccinated folks shots work better (or the mutation thing)….when have those who don’t get flu shots ever been thrown shade for perpetuating the flu virus? When have we ever advocated for medical intervention based on little to no risk to the patient?
Try to keep up, I never said anyone should be punished. (show me where I said that specifically, and not some long winded bull crap) That is an out right lie Nick and you know it. I have said repeatedly,
Why should one person get to do the same as another, when they did not do what the other person did to get that?
Hmmm, no punishment there. Your example has absolutely no comparison to the issue. IF you said that over a half a million kids had died because of this phenomena then it would be a comparison.
I singled out your post because you said there was no logical argument to support a non-vaccine stance
It is not logical to expect to get the same thing as someone who stepped up and did something. PERIOD

No mention of COVID at all. But you knew that because glaringly shows you have a narrative you believe and you will fit that to what ever someone writes.
Keep throwing sh!t. Your true narrative is that the disease is a joke. Period. I'm am happy for you that you did not lose someone.
Noone should be able to get what other people have to, do SOMETHING to get. Is that a punishment? NO. I always thought you earn what you get. But you obviously believe in welfare for those YOU and YOUR murderous, traitorus Mob loving pATRIOTS deem worthy.Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

I guess I get caught up in the flippant way people suggest that non-vaccinated should be cut/fired and or that Beasley’s “Dumaz” is stupid for “want(ing) the same rights as a fully vaccinated person”. It’s crazy how easily people are willing to shame, cancel, and suspend other’s rights because they don’t think alike.
it’s really fucked up
I guess I get caught up in the flippant way people want to throw welfare around. Why do we work for stuff again?
I bet this question doesn't get answered. At least not with a yes or no.

Tre’Quan Smith sees the Saints getting back to normal, thanks to vaccines

The Saints are one of a handful of NFL teams that already have at least 85 percent of their players vaccinated, and wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith said he’s looking forward to a much more normal season in 2021 than in 2020.
“We just want to get back to the normal way as quickly as possible and as safely as possible,” Smith told the Orlando Sentinel.
Smith acknowledged he was hesitant to get the COVID-19 vaccine but ultimately concluded it was the right thing to do.
“I was looking at all the bad things and not looking at the good things,” Smith said. “My mom’s a diabetic. What if I get her sick? Then I’ve got nieces and nephews that I’m around all the time. What if they get sick? And then I do want to go back to normal, so sooner or later, everybody’s got to get vaccinated — if not everybody, a good amount of people have got to get vaccinated before things go back to normal.”
NFL players who are fully vaccinated will have an easier time this season, as they won’t have to get tested every day, won’t have to wear masks and can congregate with groups of other players. Unvaccinated players will have to follow the same strict guidelines of daily testing, masks and isolation of last year. The NFL is expected to relax the COVID-19 protocols for teams that have at least 85 percent of their players fully vaccinated, so the Saints will be at a competitive advantage over teams with fewer vaccinated players.

Emmitt Smith joins forces with Jill Biden for a vaccination push in Texas

Whether due to procrastination, hesitation, or strident beliefs that the vaccinations contain microchips that become synchronized with 5G towers and/or allow our bodies to wear refrigerator magnets as jewelry, not enough people have gotten the jab. In Texas, Hall of Fame running back and all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith is joining the charge to get the word out.
On Tuesday, Emmitt will join First Lady Jill Biden to tour a vaccination site at Emmett J. Conrad High School in Dallas.
The goal is to get more people to get vaccinated. Later in the day, Jill Biden will be joined by Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff for a vaccination event at Minute Maid Park, along with the Houston Astros.
On Wednesday, Bill and Emhoff will travel to Phoenix for a similar effort.
Despite decades of vaccinations that have eradicated many serious conditions from the face of the earth, the COVID vaccine inexplicably has become a sharply political and divisive issue. Few issues make people on both sides of the debate more angry than this one. Which actually makes sense. Getting the vaccine is a matter of life and death. Those who oppose the vaccine have convinced themselves that the risk of death from the shot is as great or greater than death from COVID.
Ultimately, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. They’re not entitled to their own facts. The problem is that too many fringe media outlets with obvious agendas are spreading false facts, which then become the anchor for the refusal to contribute to the greater good — the effort to wipe out COVID, permanently.
So what’s a person to do? If you have questions or concerns about the vaccine, don’t simply sink your teeth into a website or a video that looks or feels in any way questionable but that tells you what you want to hear. One thing that we (hopefully) can agree on is that the issue has become far more important than looking for a single objective fact, no matter how flimsy it may be, to justify subjective beliefs that, believe it or not, may be erroneous.

Henry Ford Health System will require all workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the health system announced on Tuesday.
Henry Ford Health System to require COVID-19 vaccine for all workers
(WXYZ) — Henry Ford Health System will require all workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the health system announced on Tuesday.
The requirement will go into effect on Sept. 10, 2021, and apply to all team members, students, volunteers and contractors.
Henry Ford is the first health system in the state to require COVID-19 vaccination for all workers.
“We acknowledge the magnitude of this decision and we did not make it lightly,” President and CEO Wright Lassiter III said in a release. “As a leader and trusted voice in our communities, our patients and members depend on us to create a safe, healthy environment. We owe that same promise to our team members. Safety and infection prevention are everyone’s responsibility.”
The health system said the requirement goes along with the sharp decline of COVID-19 hospitalizations with vaccinations increasing. There are around 20 COVID-19 patients in all Henry Ford hospitals, the lowest since the early days of the pandemic.
“We have consistently advocated for vaccination as the best path forward for all of us,” said Bob Riney, President of Healthcare Operations and Chief Operating Officer. “But for vaccinations to truly make a deep and lasting impact on this pandemic, we need everyone in this fight. There is no greater compassion we can show each other than to be vigilant about safety and preventing the spread of this devastating disease.”
The health system said the requirement is also consistent with the existing vaccination policy at Henry Ford, which requires workers to get a flu shot and stay current with other vaccinations like measles, mumps, whooping cough and more.

CDC says that fully vaccinated don't have to wear masks. How do you maskless people really are vaccinated?
Ask them who won the election.
I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your serverI feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on
