The only way China is uniquely "responsible" for this is if they were actively creating this viral agent and it escaped (which, hell, I'll even grant you is a possibility; it would HARDLY be the first time the Chinese government did something monstrous, and tried to hide it).

Yeah I have no idea on the Chinese eating habits or how this thing originated. It may be wet bars, pigs or bat soup. No clue. They are more likely to originate in China because there are a lot of ducks and domesticated pigs, plus the largest population. So they are most likely to come from there. The one in 2009 originated in Mexico. There will be more after this, but right now they need to be moving heaven and Earth to be fighting this. Culture wars don't fight this shit.
