If it's in the daily mail it must be true. I've read other things that still look at the fish market as the reason, I have no idea, neither do you but you are quick to assume. Two years ago you were complaining about Chinese people eating bats.

Yeah, I mean not literally on the actual doorsteps. But the same city and 1,000 miles away from where these bats actually lived. The only link we have between those areas and Wuhan is scientists bringing samples and live bats back from caves in the region to study.
The bottom line is the fact that scientists are intentionally making mutant spliced together viruses more transmissible and deadly to study in labs with no oversight or regulation makes me very uncomfortable, especially after this miraculous “co-incidence” and global shit show.

But if it was a lab leak, the beginning confirmed cases would be on the doorsteps of the lab. There would be more confirmed cases from lab workers. People are coming to a much more definitive stance than they should be. We will probably never know and if every government devoted all of their resources to find out, we still might never know. This isn't Midsomer Murders where they crack the case by the end of the show.
This labs are regulated but maybe not as well as they need to be, you only need to go to England with the Small Pox lab leak.

Because Fauci didn't prostrate himself to Trump , it has him in the crosshairs of the Fox News crowd like foxhopper.

I’m far from Fox News but I think he has big questions to answer about what the hell he was thinking doing outsourcing research deemed too dangerous for the USA to be conducted in China.
He was a fan of this kind of Frankenstein study and was also very quick to try and blame natural origins with absolutely zero evidence. “Look that way!”
Unfortunately US politics is so partisan we will likely never get a decent Senate hearing to ask him about it.
I definitely have sympathy for Fauci and Birx trying to work in that crackpot admin but less so on the shadiness from the NIH that preceded it.

Virologists everywhere have looked at the alpha Covid and it is man-made.
No one should be doing gain-of-function research.

Unfortunately, the MSM in the US has not covered the story, and political hacks like froot think there is about a 50% chance of this virus jumping from one animal to another.

If something is too dangerous to be done in America and there’s a moratorium on the research for a reason - it shouldn’t be outsourced by the back door and funded to dubious Chinese labs. In a less contentious political time, most reasonable people would agree with that statement.
