Denzel Perryman: I’m thinking about getting vaccinated now; I don’t like being an outcast

The COVID-19 protocols that the NFL and NFL players association agreed to for the 2021 season have provided a clear incentive for players to get vaccinated.

Apparently, those rules and restrictions have made at least one player reconsider his stance on getting jabbed.

Linebacker Denzel Perryman addressed the Las Vegas media for the first time since the Raiders acquired him from the Panthers and told reporters that he hasn’t liked how being unvaccinated has made him feel in the team facility.

“For the record, I am thinking about the vaccination now,” Perryman said, via Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “I ain’t gonna lie. Too many restrictions going on. Can’t even eat with my fellow brothers. I don’t like being an outcast.”

As Hill pointed out, Perryman was required to wear a mask at the podium because he hasn’t received a vaccine to this point.

If it takes feeling like an outcast to induce Perryman into getting vaccinated, then in many ways, that’s a victory for public health. But it also helps the Raiders for availability. Having fewer unvaccinated players means there are fewer individuals who must be placed on the COVID-19 list due to a close contact. And as we’ve seen with the Colts this week, missing those days in the regular season would be significant.

No, years before there even was a fox news someone gave me that nickname. It involved a job I used to do that involed foxes (the animal and not the slang for hot women...lol).

I don't actively watch fox news. I have never had cable or pay TV. The only Tucker I see is if if something gets recommended by youtube or I click on a link someone else posts. I also don't see much of the other side like Madow. I try my best not to watch any of the main stream news-- but kind of impossible not to see some. I have never been on facebook, twitter, or any of that stuff. I'm sure I would have been kicked off long ago if I had...lol

After over a year of doing my own rabbit hole diving, I believe Faucci had a big hand funding gain of research in Wuhan and is partially responsible for the virus being developed and getting out. The guy is a fucking little weasel imo. Now he is a much richer little weasel.

All I can tell you is the memo we got at our airport during the early days of this shit - from CDC was that masks were more of a health problem than a prevention. It took nearly 2 months before more information came down from the CDC mandating masks. Now we can speculate till the cows come home how much of that was Trump or not - but the bottom line is the CDC had it's name all over that memo. I'm dead serious, there was no mandate at all until June 2020 - that masks were mandatory.

By then the summer was in full swing - and it was a literal bitch working in 110+ heat with a mask. They say that if the mask gets wet, it's no good anymore - well shit........

The "bottom line" was that they were just learning about the damn virus. How deadly it was, how it was spread, what was the best way to prevent it, the best way to treat it, etc etc. It was and is a dynamic situation. Nobody lied. There is no "master plan". They gave guidance based on what they knew at the time. They know a whole lot more now than they did then and they knew a whole lot more in June of 2020 than they did in March of 2020.

Masks work, there weren't enough of them. Tough shit that they suck in 110 degree weather, they still work. So do vaccines, until we need a different vaccine. Taking cattle dewormer has not proven to work worth a shit.

It's worth noting while picking apart whatever the CDC and Fauci were saying in March 2020 so many people were saying it was going to go away like the flu by Summer 2020. Fraquar was one of those people.
