As long as he lives, we will never stop hearing from or about him. That's just the truth. Some people truly idolize him to the point they say he was "anointed" by God. I don't know how they came to that conclusion... Maybe someone who thinks he is some kind of weird God can chime in and set the record straight.
I think better than even money now that Trump is president in 2024.

                    • Saints won’t refund ticket holders who refuse COVID-19 test or vaccination

New Orleans is requiring everyone entering the Superdome to show either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. And the Saints will not issue refunds to any ticket holders who refuse both the vaccine and the COVID-19 test.

Saints Senior Vice President of Communications Greg Bensel said refunds and opt-outs for season-ticket holders are not part of the plan for 2021.

“We’ve received all necessary local and state approvals to host a full stadium of fans and with that in mind, we are not offering a refund or opt out option this season,” Bensel said in a statement to WDSU. “We remain optimistic that, with our community’s help and as vaccination rates increase, these restrictions will no longer be necessary as the season progresses. However, if you don’t plan on attending games this season, we’d recommend that you resell your individual game tickets on SeatGeek, which has a strong secondary market for Saints tickets.”

The Raiders are requiring every fan to be vaccinated and will refund ticket holders who won’t get vaccinated, but there’s an important distinction: The Saints aren’t requiring vaccines, they’re requiring vaccines or negative COVID-19 tests. If you’re both refusing to get vaccinated and refusing to get tested for COVID-19, you’re being needlessly obstinate, and there’s no reason the Saints should be accommodating to such people.

                      • After hesitating, Nick Bosa is now vaccinated

San Francisco defensive end Nick Bosa was hesitant to get vaccinated for COVID-19, but in the end he got the shot.

Bosa is vaccinated, according to Matt Barrows of TheAthletic.com.

Shortly after training camp opened, Bosa said he wasn’t vaccinated because he wanted to learn more about the vaccine.

I’m just evaluating everything right now,” Bosa said in late July. “[I] haven’t made a decision quite yet, but following the protocols and see where it goes.”

The protocols for unvaccinated players are more strict than for vaccinated players, with unvaccinated players having more restrictions on where they can go in team facilities, and more requirements to wear masks. So it wouldn’t be surprising if those protocols Bosa mentioned helped him decide to get the vaccine.

But whatever his reasons, Bosa did the right thing. The COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, and getting virtually everyone vaccinated is the only way the pandemic will come to an end. Bosa has now done his part.

                          • Falcons cut two unvaccinated players to get to 100 percent

Before Monday, several NFL teams hovered in the vicinity of 100 percent vaccination rate. The Falcons got there first.

It didn’t happen because they convinced their lingering holdouts to get the vaccine. Per a league source, the Falcons made it to full vaccination among all players by cutting their two unvaccinated players.

Other teams in the vicinity of 100 percent could have done the same thing, but those teams have unvaccinated players who are regarded as too valuable to the broader mission of winning as many games as possible.

It had been believed that most if not all players firmly in the bottom rungs of the roster would get vaccinated in order to enhance their chances of making it to the 53-man roster or the 16-man practice squad. Not so for the two players whom the Falcons released.

Those players, if they remain unvaccinated, likely won’t get other chances. Given the 2021 protocols, unvaccinated players must wait five days before trying out or signing. Vaccinated players can do either, immediately. Which means that, for the players among the first five out as teams dropped from 90 to 85, unvaccinated players likely will be out of luck.
