Hockey rinks in baseball parks make for the worst sight lines possible. I'd only go if it was in a football stadium.

Agree with you, Mike- the view at Wrigley was awful- but they could sell beer. Tradeoffs, I guess.

Brandon was quoted in today's sports section that negotiations were ongoing and "complicated". One complication he mentioned was the liquor license issue, something not normally an issue at Michigan Stadium.

One thing I did like, that they did @ Jacobs Field last night, was the way they made use of some of the otherwise empty space on the ballfield to have a sledding hill. In fact, I like it so much that I suggest they keep it there all baseball season long, much more than I like the Ferris Wheel and Merry-Go-Round at Copa!

I believe that was the 2011 2nd Half Memorial Slide.

Attendance figure, just under 26 000 seems underwhelming given the considerable setup costs?

I think it's safe to say the NHL won't be setting up a franchise in the Mistake By The Lake anytime soon!
