NFL.com: Lions don't want Haynesworth
The Lions no longer are interested in disgruntled Washington Redskins employee Albert Haynesworth, former Freeper Jason La Canfora reports at NFL.com. While they admittedly might make an awesome force on the field at defensive tackle, a team source told La Canfora that Lions general manager Martin Mayhew was concerned about the kind of influence Haynesworth would be to prize rookie Ndamukong Suh. "Even though Suh is his own man, we don't want any negative influences around him," the source said.

Haynesworth may be sinking his own ship with how he's handled the situation in WSH.

Sinking his own ship?
He's paid and said he's showing up to mandatory training camp. I don't get the alleged impending problem for him.

What team wants to take on an overpaid DT with a questionable work ethic that is not an every down player?
And yes he's overpaid - he had nowhere near the impact last year with WSH as he did in Tennessee...

I personally think most NFL players are overpaid.

I believe B. ORAKPO will disagree with you. When AH was on the field, he made the WA team D better. Just like he always has in his career. He just needs to be on the field more often.
