If I remember Stanton's last time he played, he left the field looking like that center pumpkin in my picture.

Although I want to see Stafford play and this game has now lost some of it's allure it's a good decision. If he isn't 100% by next week keep him out again.

GO LIONS "09" !!!!!!!!!

All this was to me was Schwartz trying to get any advantage against Pittsburgh...if he was able to get them to spend any of their prep time working on Stafford, rather then Culpepper it was what he wanted......I'm not convinced that would matter much, but Schwartz knows a lot more about prepping for an opponent then I do........but to me it would be idiotic to put your 41 million dollar investment out on the field if he has a knee injury that needs rest and more time to heal......whether he ultimately starts 10, 12 or 14 games this year, or all 16 is of no consequence. It simply isn't worth the risk.....and if the knee isn't responding to treatment by next week, he shouldn't play next week either.

Playing cloak and dagger with Pittsburgh? Hehe, I seriously doubt they are even worried about it TBH. If this was say NE or Baltimore, yeah they might be a little more concerned - but Detroit?
