  • Tracking former Lions

Not sure if this thread has ever been here or if it is already (didn't see one)? But with the high turnover in the NFL, thought it would be interesting. Especially with the likes of Aaron Berry most likely getting a second chance sooner or later.

I will start it off by thinking Drew Stanton might want to rethink whoever he is getting his career advice from. Could have been in the running for starting at NYJ, but instead demands to be traded to backup another possible PFM/Stafford QB in Luck.

It's actually not a bad move on Stanton's part. Every year everyone is ultra freggen retarded thinking a QB taken at #1 can't go wrong, and every year everyone is shocked when that guy turns out to be a JaMarcus Russell.

However long Stanton has to sit, if Luck busts, Stanton will be there to have a chance at a career. Until then he can reap in the royalties from ownership for giving them a sellout crowd every week.

                Saw this tweet today:

                "Detroit Lions Buzz@lionsbuzztap
Detroit News >> Simple works for Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan"

I thought they misspelled it and thought they were talking about Tony Semple. lol

Billy Sims opened a BBQ in Southfield, Mi and is looking forward to meeting all of his fans.

I vote locals get together and we coordinate to make sure his is in the building for pics and sigs.

I will do the communication if anyone in interested.

......sorry this is not in the Detroit Dining thread......

Probably not many, Heard Jordan Dizon took a bad angle with the shopping carts and ran over an old lady.
