Alabama is by far the best team. Rest of the $EC....well...not great. Best overall conference is the Big Ten...no question. Best team...well... best team money can buy...

The B1G$ might be the best. Need to win a few championships first, though. In 2015, last year (11 months ago) the SEC was 8-2 in bowl games and an SEC team won the NC.
You can wrestle the title from the SEC by a B1G$ winning a majority of titles over even a short period of time. I'll be with you. Hell, I'll attend the coronation. Nope.
Over the last 10 seasons, the SEC has won 8 national championships: 4 by Bama, 1 by Auburn, 2 by Florida, and 1 by LSU. That's 4 different schools in the last 10 complete seasons. The fact is, you have to have one thing other than just an eyeball opinion.
