Good: Actually able to sweep Green Bay for the first time since I bought my house.
Bad: Lions injuries
Ugly: If Coldwell is still the coach

Nice thread title!

I don't know what to think of this game. It looked like they played with some sense of risk, and used some creativity. But GB sucks, flat out.

It was a shit bowl between shit teams, so it's hard to evaluate anything anyone did well.

Good: This game meant nothing.

Bad: This game meant nothing.

Ugly: This game meant nothing.

Bad.I wish they would have tried to get Tate his 1000 yards. All he needs was 8 with like 11 minutes left.

Good. That sweet two point conversion that I wish they would have tried against a better team.

Ugly...I'll pass on that.

Tate had 899 yards going into the game. Add the 104 today and that is 1003...according to yahoo stats.

Good: We beat the fudge (packers)

Bad: All of the turnovers and possessions that led to nothing!

Ugly: Making us wait for Caldwell's ejection.

It was nice to see ole Jimbo and Jim Bob break out the creativy in the playbook, but I wish they would have done it a little sooner than a 2pt play at the end of the last game of the season with nothing on the line. Way to put it all out on the line you nitwits.

Now the eternal suck of the off-season begins. Sure can't wait for the intelligent discourse of the 7th round pick in the 38th version of Walter Football's mock draft.
Speaking of nitwits, Morelli, you're still a fucking moron. You called a penalty on Barry Sanders today, you idiot.

Good: The season is over.

Bad: No Playoffs

Ugly: If they bring back Caldwell.

G: Oh, joy! We get to claim we swept the Packers.

B: It will cost them on draft day.

U: If this game had meaning, likely, the results would have been different.

We swept the Packers because they didn't have Erin. Plain and simple. I don't even consider those legitimate wins.

I do wonder what might have been with the Caldwell regime if they didn't grip it so tight. It was obvious they were emptying the playbook yesterday. They were calling plays with a lot less caution. They were trying to throw the ball deep.

The Tate TD was a beautifully designed play, the route combinations totally flummoxed the defense and Stafford had like 3 guys to choose from.

Then none of the wins since Mediocre Matty are legitimate wins.

-------------------------------------------------Ya the dumbass Caldwell should have been playing this way his whole tenure but he played conservative and not to lose instead. Good riddance.
