The saddest thing about Cleveland going 0-16 is that it's just another way that they'll be compared to us.

No, this is the saddest thing about Cleveland going 0 for 16 ...

http://detroitlionsforum.com/forums/...5&postcount=15

I want the 0-16 to stay with the Lions so that pathetic excuse for a human named Millen will live the rest of his life knowing he and he alone was incompetent enough to build a winless NFL team. After Millen dies alone with this shame, without sharing that level of ineptitude and failure with any other, will it be ok for another team to go 0-16.

Fucking Browns.

Well...
Millen is history.
Sometimes you gotta let it go...ya know?

Maybe the Lions will do something great in the future. Maybe not.

But no matter what they do, every time somebody pipes up with "0 and 16" they're going to stick our name with the Browns.

Best Wishes for 2018!

Stats were almost even between the Browns and Steelers. The Brownies would kick that Lion's teams ass.

Well, weren’t the Steelers sitting anybody of relevance today?

Yes. But still. An 0-16 team played with a 12 win team pretty even. The Steelers were without their magnificent trio so there's that.. That Lions team would never do that. I guess that was my point.

WoW, at least the senile old man gave Marinelli the heave ho when he went 0-16.

The 2008 Lions played a handful of teams close too. Hell, they lost to the NFC North champions by a grand total of 6 points, and were leading what would be the 12-4 Panthers until midway through the 4th quarter.

Who would win a battle of the winless really would simply come down to who happened to have a good-ish week.

Yeah, pretty much all of those players the Steelers sat are better than any Lion at the respective position

I think Cleveland's owner is mostly to blame. I don't know who I dislike more Haslam, Irsay, or Ford(s).

I didn't think this was possible (4-0 then 0-16) when the Lions did it. Parallel universe that both did
