I'm guessing Marvin Lewis is going to be available

Seriously, this is what you get when 3rd generation rich people run shit. They are 3rd generation morons who can't run shit like a boss.
Too bad you'll probably be dead by then buddy. The Fords made it clear they aren't selling the team. Martha's daughters are the next in line to inherit the team.

awh, what happened to that hot September forum game day when everyone was asking, okay only ULF, if they win today do you think they'll make the playoffs?

The optimism flowing from us lads was just like the beer and Mark's Jambalaya, life was good and the season was young ha ha

If Caldwell is fired these are some coaches the Lions could go for if they are also let go by their respective teams.

Chuck Pagano, Bruce Arians, John Fox, Marvin Lewis, Hue Jackson, Vance Joseph, Bill O'Brien, Steve Spagnuolo, Todd Bowles, Jack Del Rio, Dirk Koetter, Mike Mularkey, and Jay Gruden.

It's just another game on the schedule. Time to get ready for Green Bay, a division rival.

It was a bit hot for the Jambalaya.

Should be fired for that sad excuse for a defense? Should learn how to teach proper tackling technique? Should be demoted to water boy for not teaching his players situational football????

All year long they failed to seal the edge in the red zone and it continually cost them. It didn't change today on that TD.

The only name on this list I’d be interested in for an HC would be Arians. But I’d have to believe that O’brien would get considered because of familiarity with Quinn.

I would be interested in several of those names for coordinators though

Bruce Arians has had some success with the Cardinals and almost got them to the Superbowl. He doesn't have the talent to be able to really do anything.

O'Brien is a interesting case. He never had the QB or the personnel to be successfully in Houston. The owner won't let him do what he needs to do to bring a winner.

Couple that with their complete inability to not be fooled by any and all misdirection plays, an opponent could have run counters on every snap and dropped 60 points on that defense.

Austin truly deserves no praise. That defense was garbage. It was like an AI defense on "Rookie" difficulty in Madden.

To be fair about Austin.....

When Ngata is/was healthy and there was some sort of a run stopper in the middle the D worked much better. Once it was Ashawn and a bunch of guys no one has ever heard of....he had to sacrifice coverage and the run D still sucked. And....Ziggy was hurt half the time.

While the D was trash the whole second half of the season, he was working with very little talent.

So I’m down on Austin and I think the team needs a clean slate......I still think the guy is a very good DC

Get a new HC and let him pick his own staff. If he likes Austin then keep him.

He knows how to utilize TE's and screens.

Nothing beats being 0-7 in play-off games. Would fit in nicely here.

Finally the season is over. If Caldwell is back next year, I'm not watching. I can't stomach another mediocre bunch of bums posing as a professional football team.
Good to see you scott.

Quinn BETTER fire Caldwell now. That POS can't manage a game for shit. I was fortunate. I only watched the first quarter. I shoveled then my neighbor called. She had picked up some meat for me in Dearborn. I went to get it and we ended up chatting until 3:50. When I got back home I shoveled again.

I thought the left footed guy that was playing before he came back was doing a good job...I guess it just shows they are a dime a dozen and don't overpay for a punter like the Lions did with Martin...At least he has some value with kickoffs.
