Let the guy play that position full tim before you judge him. He might not be good but you don't know until he has a chance to master it. Also surrounded by scrubs. Hard to tell who's fault it is.

He has shown he can serve as a backup. Hopefully center and guard gets upgraded next year one way or another.

I love looking at the term "upgrade". Every draft you can go through the drafts and see the comment "upgrade" without the college player playing a single down in the pros.

When Glasgow was drafted I could probably find 10 times in this forum where he was said to be an "upgrade" over who they currently had.

Most of them are not upgrades at all. The players just have different strengths and weaknesses from the player there supposed to be replacing.

The draft just like the games, is for entertainment purposes mainly and making the NFL money with marketing and promotional events for upcoming season.

As color rush uniforms go, yesterday's uniforms were good. Much more subtle than other teams' looks. But the color rush look in general reminds me of college uniforms. And yes, yesterday's uniforms are way better than black!!

Yes, they are petty slick as far as the color rush go. I’m a traditionalist when it comes to uniforms but at least these are the team colors and are unique for the most part.

Agree, Deb.

Me too, Main. I am not near as against the newer uniforms as I used to be. I realize they are not marketing to me, and as long as they lost the Millen black and there are no highlighter pen colors, I can live with it. (As if I have a choice, Ha!)

I'd like to see the throwbacks more often. Those are sharp.

I agree. I wish the NFL didn't have a dumb one helmet rule for the season.

I'd like to see the throwbacks with the gold helmets the Lions seemed to wear sometimes in the 50s.

Everything was good in that game except for that last scoring drive for the bears where the lions defense fell asleep at the wheel.

Right. They must have applied and gotten an exception for that. I remember reading some griping that throwback jerseys would look better with the helmet redesigned but the league had a one helmet for the season rule.

Bears QB Mitch Trubisky threw three interceptions against the Lions, but coach John Fox thinks it was his best game of the year.

Hahahaha! The bar is so low in Chicago. I still can’t believe they ran Lovie Smith out of town.
