Lions bear-y the Bears GBU

G - Pretty much ... all of it?

B - Still need help getting into the playoffs

U - 2nd week in a row now where several hours go by and nobody makes a GBU

Lions win game easily

Run game looked decent against a good defense

Mathew Stafford continues to have a damned good season with minimal protection

Diggs looks amazing at safety

Slay is one of the best CBs in the league

There was a Ansah sighting

Agnew and Cohen are electric return men.

The Lions D learned from the last time they played and didn’t fall for Trubiskys QB draw near the end zone

Tion Green runs with authority

Ebron is playing the best football of his career

Bad

Coaching for not playing Green more

Pass protection breakdowns

Stafford needs to learn to throw the ball away sometimes. He holds onto it way too long when the pocket has broken down

Lots of holding calls

Ugly

Not much was ugly besides the Lions can’t win without the media going straight into “They’re still not good enough” even minutes after a controlled win. There’s so much negativity it’s amazing

Good: Stafford looked good as usual (and without much help from his line and/or running game). That Jones Jr. catch was amazing and reminded me of what C.J. used to do. Slay is one of the best corners in the league. Davis looked good and I'm excited that he is only going to get better going forward. Riddick looked good and grinded out some tough runs. Running the table on the Bears always makes me smile.

Bad: Beyond Decker and Lang (who really needs a full off-season to fully recover from his injuries) the line looked bad. I would be fine with three new starters at the other positions.

No ugly for a win.

G: We beat a division opponent

B: This team still has more deficiencies than a college full of anorexic girls

U: If the team we played was a college full of anorexic girls in Steelers uniforms, we would have lost.

Speaking of ugly... Please throw those fucking uniforms in the trash!

G: My AAL got 2 INT's including the game clinching turnover and may just be Pro Bowl bound.

B: Pretty much dominating the game but allowing garbage points and threats in the 4th quarter.

U: Color rush grey.

I forgot about Galloday. When we picked him I was a little confused but when he’s been healthy he’s a vital piece to the offense. If the Lions could protect Stafford and not lose yards on the ground Stafford has a very nice collection of weapons.

Seriously Marvin Jones, Tate, Galloday, Ebron and even TJ Jones are the most complete set of receiving corps the Lions have had since Moore, Perriman and Johnny Morton. Stafford drives the bus but these guys are getting it done. Drops have been few and far in between recently. Protect Stafford and we have something here.

That play where he lowered his shoulder in the first half was nice. I can’t recall him ever punishing a safety like that. I was very impressed with that. He’s playing pissed off.

Keep it up!

the uniforms reminded me of my oldest son's "Onesies" baby jammies when I was watching him the last time the lions won a playoff game-Jan 5, 1992. Lions 38-Dallas 6

Loved the uniforms. They were slick.
What makes the grey work is how the Honolulu Blue complements it. Not all grey uniforms work. This uniform does.

U - Lions winning doesn’t matter if the Seahawks, Panthers, and Falcons win. These teams need to be knocked off.
Go Packers! Beat Carolina!

Screw that. Fuck the packers. Let Carolina take the one spot and the Lions can have the other.

The only way the Lions make the playoffs is if they beat GB in week 17... which, eliminates the Packers. Lions kind of need the Panthers to go 0-3 or Falcons/ Seahawks 1-2. GB winning today helps that cause. Falcons and Panthers play in week 17.
Simply, if Carolina wins today, Carolina is a lock. The benefit is GB is done today.
The game is a win-win. I’d rather have both Wild Card spots still available heading into week 16. For that reason, rooting for Green Bay!
Lions are screwed if the Seahawks or Falcons go 2-1 IF Carolina wins today.

You guys are either crazy or over the age of 70 if you don't like those unis. Those were the best uniforms they have ever worn. I loved them. Most fans did as they were sold out of everything online by the end of the game.

Everything was good in that game except for that last scoring drive for the bears where the lions defense fell asleep at the wheel.

Stafford’s O line needs to be on the fucking field. Sick and tired of watching him get buried.

The lions probably score another 14-17 points if not for the holding penalties and sacks in bears territory.

Oh, my.

I can't think of a better look than long underwear with Honolulu Blue accents.

Next thing we know, women will be burning bras because they are too confining and they look better without them. If this is the same logic, I agree.
