A Lump of Coal in Your Stocking - Lions / Bears Gameweek

Christmas Eve, a day of beauty and happiness.

...and then there'll be the Lions / Bears matchup.

It's going to be ugly, and it's going to try to mess up your holiday spirit. We know how the Lions play down to the ineptitude of the competition. Look for a flagfest.

I got it in my head that Saturday was Christmas Eve yesterday, from the tv ad, somehow. Anyway, disregard the Christmas Eve part.

Uhmmmm, they are playing Cincy on Christmas Eve. Christmas is two weeks away.

You have to run if you want Mediocre Matty's best play to work. Maybe I've missed it, but has Cooter or Caldwell ever actually said that they need to "establish the run"?

Drinking game idea:
Do a shot for every flag and blown play.

You should have alcohol poisoning before the end of the first quarter

Just shows he doesn't watch the games, which means he has zero credibility.

How nice of you to not highlight the fact I prefaced the comment with “Maybe I missed it” but since you say they talked about all season, can you point to a press conference, news paper report were either Cooter or Caldwell actully utter that statement? Google search came up with nothing. One would think, with all this talking about it you find one press conference where they mention it.

Don't worry about it. You would need to have understanding, be able to infer meaning from statements that may use synonyms, and pull out key elements of statements based on usage in context. Just let it fly over your head.

Kind of like your understanding of the game of football? I’m sure you have an excuse.

I'm on vacation for the rest of the year, after today. Having the lions on Saturday means two words: day drinking
