The CGVT weather-related thread of sunshine, rainbows and unicorns

It was pretty nice here today. Finally stopped raining. About 65 and sunny.

Awesome!

Sunny with a high near 60 here today, but it's supposed to start raining tomorrow. It's definitely getting to be spring though.

I was out in the yard yesterday, and the grass is starting to come back. Hopefully I actually have a full lawn by summer.

It's cold and miserable here. When I used a little plastic baggy to pick up the hot steamy poop my wife's sisters dog just got done squeezing out, I was thankful for the warmth transferring through the thin plastic layer to my cold fingers.

Did I miss the point of this thread?

It snowed about 4 inches the other day, and I pissed off the neighbors and didnt shovel the sidewalk or my driveway. Today it was in the 40s and it all melted off. Awesome.

That could work. It's definitely one of those kind of dogs that noticeably looks happier when it has a dog sweater on. Little guy like's wearing clothes. Seems odd to me but I can sorta see why people think it's neat.

Animals that wear decorative clothing should not be called dogs

But he looks so proud when you put it on him... i doubt you could stand up to his cuteness in person. Talk is cheap on the inzernet.

Cgvt:

Today in Edinburgh we have a cold, north westerly front making its way down from northern Norway / Arctic area. It is bringing with it Zero degree temperatures and a wind chill of minus 10 degrees. Chance of light snow in the afternoon which should turn to rain between 9pm and 11pm tonight as the cold front passes through the central belt, heading south west where it will meet a cold, but slightly warmer front coming in from the Atlantic. The could result in heavy snowfall for the Cumbrian area of England. That's all for me, a very good day to you.

Just trying to make it real there. I really hope it was as bullshit as real weather guys.

Were you in Glasgow on Saturday CGVT, wearing a kilt and playing the bagpipes in a drum/pipes street band? I think you were. I have photographic evidence. Sacha will be adding that to the family book thread very soon!

Supposed to be sunny and reach a high of about 37 here today but we are being warned snow is on it's way and we will be shoveling again tomorrow afternoon.

I think it's going to be too warm. My guess is a couple inches of wet snow will be all, at least that's what I'm hoping for. Anything more and it could possibly really f up my plans.
