Only The Bungles can bungle the firing of their head coach Game Week Thread

Lions open up as a 4 point favorites.

The Vikings destroyed them at home last week.

They tried to fire Marvin Lewis but that is all messed up now

The assistant coaches contracts end this year so they have no clue about their job status other than it doesn't look good.

The players didn't seem to be up for putting in a good game for ol Marvin

And then we have the Lions, in another must win scenario.

might be a cat fight in Ohio

I will say I expect a Lions win, nothing spectacular but a win.

A win.

And we will be eliminated before Christmas.

Edit - that's not possible actually

Edit Edit - on second thought, it is possible

I actually kind of hope for a loss here so I can put to rest the playoff aspirations. The worst thing you can give a lions fan is hope.

To be honest I can see Cincinnati just laying down for us this week.

Cincinnati seems to have given up since imploding to Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. For that reason, they try in this game and make it close.

Cincinnati's defense has so many injuries it's crazy really. Their offensive line is trash but so is our defensive line. Should be a shootout.

They got clobbered by the Bears before the Vikings game...This should be an easy win, but nothing is ever easy for the Lions.

I told a Falcon fan at work weeks ago that it will come down to the Lions being tied with Atlanta for the last playoff spot and the overturned TD will end up costing the Lions a trip to the playoffs.

Not that it really matters as the team would most likely lose in the first round anyways.

I have never seen a falcon fan, I thought they went extinct.

"What does a guy have to do to get fired around here?"

The Lions are the OG of incompetence. They were bungling coach firings before it was cool. The Bungles need to know their place and check themselves.

Is this the first bowl game of the year? I think it's the American standard toilet bowl. The game is huge for showing national irrelevance

You're better off reading a book. Better yet, build a fire, pour a rum drink and dream about what might have been or what might be.
