Just going back, earlier in the season when Tarik [Black] got injured you had mentioned that he might be a go for bowl practices. Wondering if that’s still an option [and] what Tarik Black’s status is?
That was Adam Biggers asking the question. lol Harbaugh made it clear 3 times, he is 'leaning' on not playing Black to save his medredshirt. As pointed out if he leaves early whats it matter?

I think the SEC gets the most TV dollars. But I agree, the cfb doesn't impact that much.

Yeah, the B10 was operating under 10-yr old TV contract up until this year. They did a new deal this summer. http://www.dispatch.com/sports/20170...over-six-years

I think that puts them ahead of the SEC, though the difference between the B10 and SEC doesn't really matter. It's the difference between those 2 and the other 3 that's enormous.

I also think the SEC is locked in for a long time. This deal is only 6 years. I think the B10 may actually do two more deals before the current SEC deal expires.

Oh, didn't know that you had inked that.

I don't think we're eligible for a re-negotiation until 2023. Crazy dollars.

I think that's the CBS deal. The big dog ESPN deal isn't up until the 2030s. Which may be good if TV rights flat line or fall.

It was my understanding that re-ne's were both set to expire within 4 months of each other (on purpose). I could be wrong and too lazy to research/don't really care. The member-school payoff comparisons will be interesting. But you're correct: SEC & B1G. >>>>> everyone else.

And if he re-injures his foot in a meaningless game? All he'd be doing is running around and blocking. Game means nothing. Sparty can have it.

The only reason to watch now is to see how Peterson performs knowing Patterson is enrolling...

OddsShark has this game a lot closer than the peanut gallery of M fans seems to think it is...... 26.8 - 21.8. The rainbow boys at mgoboard are predicting a blow out. Not gonna happen. M is currently a 7.5 point favorite with the bets for M/SC at 55-45%. The OU is 43.

What this tells me is that Vegas doesn't think much of M's offense. Shocking. My take on the O is that Peters will start but he's going to be under a lot of pressure; if he gets knocked out of the game and JOK comes in, M could easily lose this game.

M's D is going to terrorize SCs offense but will give up a couple of big plays doing it.

The combo of a derpy M offense and a stiffing M defense is a low scoring shit fest.

Hurst is playing, Winnovich has not said anything publicly but suspect he'll play, Black won't play. The O will go, or not, on the rushing game of Higdon and Evans. It would be nice for Isaac if he got some work. He looked really good before he got injured then it actually looked like he kinda gave up.

If M can't back the Ss out with a decent passing game to the WRs and Slot, that's problematic. Getting the ball to the the TEs is nice but getting those guys open has more to do with busted coverage or running rock when the defense is in scissors. It really doesn't force the D into zone or a lot of C2.

If Peters makes it through the whole game M wins 27-20. If he doesn't, well, who knows. I also hope O'Korn gets some run if M holds a commanding lead in the 4th. It would be nice to get him some decent completions so that his last game in an M uniform wasn't the osu debacle.

Is that an indication that he's staying another year? I hope so.
