Actually, not much worth merging, so I just deleted it. I guess deleted threads ultimately slip down the front page and disappear?

She's an old fashioned girl. She won't live with him until they are married.

Imagine that.

Never mind the douchebag that posted this on youtube. I think it's cool that he's still got fire about how the draft went and love for his parents.

Trying to keep things interesting, next week thirty-two nfl alumni from each team will announce second round picks for the 2011 nfl draft. Below is the list of players involved.

On Thursday, the NFL announced that they will have one legendary alumni from each team announce the selections for the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. The first round of the draft is set to take place on April 28 (Thursday) with the second and third round to take place on April 29 (Friday).

Here’s a list of the representatives from each team that are scheduled to announce the second round selections:
  • Arizona Cardinals, Aeneas Williams (CB)
  • Atlanta Falcons, Jessie Tuggle (LB)
  • Baltimore Ravens, Peter Boulware (LB)
  • Buffalo Bills, Andre Reed (WR)
  • Carolina Panthers, Brad Hoover (FB)
  • Chicago Bears, Richard Dent (DE)
  • Cincinnati Bengals, Anthony Muñoz (OT)
  • Cleveland Browns, Paul Warfield (WR)
  • Dallas Cowboys , Charles Haley (DE)
  • Denver Broncos, Shannon Sharpe (TE)
  • Detroit Lions, Barry Sanders (RB)
  • Green Bay Packers, Jim Taylor (FB)
  • Houston Texans, Aaron Glenn (CB)
  • Indianapolis Colts, Jeff Herrod (LB)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars, Donovin Darius (S)
  • Kansas City Chiefs, Willie Lanier (LB)
  • Miami Dolphins, Sam Madison (CB)
  • Minnesota Vikings, Chris Doleman (DE)
  • New England Patriots, Andre Tippett (LB)
  • New Orleans Saints, Willie Roaf (OT)
  • New York Giants, Joe Morris (RB)
  • New York Jets, Marty Lyons (DT)
  • Oakland Raiders, Willie Brown (DB)
  • Philadelphia Eagles, Troy Vincent (DB)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers, Franco Harris (RB)
  • St. Louis Rams, Marshall Faulk (RB)
  • San Diego Chargers, Natrone Means (RB)
  • San Francisco 49ers, Dwight Clark (WR)
  • Seattle Seahawks, Cortez Kennedy (DT)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers, John Lynch (S)
  • Tennessee Titans, Jevon Kearse (DE)
  • Washington Redskins, Doug Williams (QB)
There are three teams (Panthers, Dolphins, and Jets) that don’t have a second-round pick in this year’s draft. Instead, their representative will announce the team’s selection for the third round

U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson gave the players an early victory Monday in their fight with the owners over how to divide the US$9 billion business, granting their injunction request to lift the lockout.

This crosses many threads but I figured this would work:

Quote:
Woodson and Max Merget, a 16-year-old from Canton who has been a patient at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, each threw out the first pitch before the Tigers game at Comerica Park on Wednesday night. Woodson, who recently gave $2 million to Mott for research, will be honored by the hospital today with "Charles Woodson Day."

Sure has. I'm surprised at the QB's who have gone.

And, the Detroit Lions seem to have actually made another good pick.

The QBs went quick because first everyone who needed QBs planned on taking guys like Locker and Dalton at the end of the first round, and then everyone figured out everyone else's plan. Every team with a QB need realized it couldn't afford to wait. Having said that, even though I think Christian Ponder might turn out to be the best QB taken in this draft, I'm really surprised he went #12.

The NFL Networks' coverage has been pretty bad, IMO.
