The top 15 highest paid players in the league are qbs. Erin Rodgers is #7 and Tom Brady is #14. It sounds like you sly guys should be negotiating on behalf of NFL teams because half of the NFL GMs must not have the info that you have about chopping and changing QBs.

It sounds like its a piece of cake

It is the 'someone else' approach. Just keep switching QB's with random centers, lineman and kickers like that every few games until you go 16-0.

It actually sounds like a plan formulated by the Lions

Ok, so I'm afraid I'm going to lose my starting QB who gives the team the best chance to win - and he's only been able to do that 10% of the time vs the teams we need to beat to take the next step. Fuck it, lets pay him 20% more than the top QB's in the league.

The rationale to digest that makes me dizzy and nauseus.

Nevin Lawson is getting lost in talk about Lions' No. 2 cornerbacks
Playing a bit of devil's advocate here, but what are the chances he was avoided because there were so much better options to pick on (our linebackers, slot corner especially after Diggs went down)?

Trade two first rounders for the Pats entire coaching staff.

Blake Bortles will probably be available next year for 19 mill.

I mean if Luck and Stafford are worth 26-27, Brady and Rodgers should be worth 40.
It's a business, it's not about performance it's about making the owner money.

Sounds like we're not the only team that doesnt use players right in their own systems.

The comment is from an HoF OL talking about Greg Robinson.

“As far as talents are concerned, you won’t find a better talent and now what you’re seeing is a guy who is becoming an educated talent, so I have nothing but great expectations for him,” Slater said. “I think he’s going to eventually be a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro player. I think it’s just a matter of time, and I also think that he’s going to be a very difficult decision for the Detroit Lions over the next year or so. I mean, this guy right here is an unbelievable talent that comes along once every decade or so, and he’s the type of guy that’s growing, that’s desperately wanting to get better. All the stars are lining up for him.”

Dang.

I once met J Slater (and rookie J Bettis) and at that time, JS was the largest human being I had ever personally met. I respect JS's opinion but I think I'll have to see that development for myself. I hope he's right but that means Deckers return would slide GROB to OLG. I don't believe he's ever played pro guard.

If by a miracle Robinson turns into the talent level of the #2 overall pick he'll cash in big time elsewhere as a highly paid OLT.

Id love to think we could sign him to a lonterm contract but we already have Lang and Wagner signed to big money and Swanson is looking to get locked up.

If nothing else he'll save our asses with Decker going down
