I thought Indy, from top to bottom was the more talented team. That doesn't necessarily make them the better team.
I thought that it was a fairly even game and if Manning really is one of the best ever he should have been the difference and he wasn't. Of course the loss is not all his fault, but if he is one of the greatest he can win that game. Manning is a HOF QB....obviously but I think talk of him as the best ever was absurd when you look at the number of Championships (and add appearances) guys like Otto Graham, Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Bart Starr, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw (just to name a few)have won.

What a great game - and it might be the first time ever that the team I want to win actually does. It's a weird feeling.

I must say, things are a little subdued here in Indy today. It's awesome.

Couldn't agree more. Prince owned the Super Bowl that night. Though, him playing a Foo Fighters song was beneath him.

Be careful though, don't let DSRED see you give Prince any credit.

Not the disgustingly old 85 year old Betty White of today but the one you saw 12 years ago? So when she was 73? Man....everyone has their kinks I guess.

We are talking about the woman on the Golden Girls right?

Last nights game was watched by more than 106 million people, surpassing the 1983 finale of “M*A*S*H” to become the most-watched program in television history.

The blizzard had a lot to do with that. Its why the Pontiac Super Bowl had such high ratings and stood for that long as the ratings king of the Super Bowl telecasts, the US was in a giant cold snap then.

I suppose the same could be said of Favre, except that would put Favre behind Manning as the best regular season QB ever, and Favre is outside of the top 10 of all time as he has won but one championship.

Colts are favorites to win Super Bowl XLV

Posted by Michael David Smith on February 8, 2010 1:44 PM ET

A day after the Indianapolis Colts lost Super Bowl XLIV, they've been tabbed as the early favorites to win Super Bowl XLV.

According to Bodog.com, the Colts are 13/2 favorites to win the Super Bowl a year from now.

The Super Bowl XLIV champion New Orleans Saints aren't considered the favorites, and they're not even No. 2 behind the Colts. The Chargers are next at 8/1, while the Saints are third, tied with the Patriots at 10/1.

Six teams -- the Browns, Lions, Chiefs, Raiders, Rams and Buccaneers -- are tied with the longest odds on the board, at 100/1.

I would put them in the same category, somewhere between 11 and 20 but I'd rank Favre ahead of Manning, he won with weaker teams. He only had 1 real stud of a receiver (Sharpe) and he got hurt early in his career.

100 to 1 doesn't do the Lions justice - nowhere close actually.

I wouldn't bet on the Lions for a dollar if you gave me 1,000,000-1 odds.

I'd still think I was wasting a dollar for no reason.

I'd risk a buck for a million on the Lions. Funny thing is I don't buy lottery tickets because I think they are a rip off.
