You should really be conducting a study of Nebraska football under Bill Callahan, Bo Pellini, and Mike Riley. Call it, "No More 'Roids - the Clean Effect."

I believe at this point, after the sugar bowl win, Hoke was the next coming.

And I freely admit how wrong I was.

Hoke was so damn lucky in his first two years. There is no rational reason that UM won that Sugar Bowl.

On the other hand, Harbaugh put together an o-line and qb with scotch tape and air the last 2 years. Next year will really show how good a staff we have, because the oline on paper looks to be really bad.

So Hoke was luck the first two years? Or did RR really bad recruiting catch up to Hoke during season 3 and 4?

                        paul...

Michigan starting OL against FSU, by * and Nat'l Rk:

                        Braden: 3* No. 40
                        Bredeson: 4* No. 1
                        Cole: 4* No. 18
                        Kalis: 5* No. 6
                        Magnuson: 4* No. 15

Speight was a 3*, No. 30 Dropback QB

                        THAT is scotch tape??

Shows how wrong the recruiting services can be. Though, to be fair, they've improved the last two seasons under Drevno. They were really terrible in Hoke's last season.
